Le Relais de Venise l'Entrecôte
● Closed“Simple yet brilliant. A tasty dressed salad with French bread to start, then two portions of perfectly cooked steak in a secret sauce and crispy fries. I love the house wines, white and red both go lovely with the meal. Huge range of tasty desserts. We tend to go for lunch at around 12pm, by the time we leave a line has formed out of the door. Staff are attentive and professional no matter how busy it gets, which is why we keep going back despite price increases - it's worth every penny.”

The flavours were incredible, great variety on the menu too. The cocktails were also exceptional - loved the sour and honey bee. It’s not cheap, but it’s worth it.”

The food is so good, everything was fresh made (including fresh squeezed orange and apple juice) - it’s all done so well. Great coffee too! The staff were super friendly and welcoming - even made baby espressos (warm milk with coco powder) for my kids. If you’re in the neighborhood, I’d definitely stop by.”

Mumbai Square Restaurant
● Open“Mumbai Square - Wednesday 9th November - 19:30 Entrance has a small step and the external and interior door are manual. Wednesday is banquet night so you get a starter, main and side dish for £15.95 but some dishes in the menu come with an additional cost; not all of us opted for the banquet special but I would definitely recommend it. Poppadom were brought out, nice, warm and fresh. Two of the guests had starters but at 20:50 we still didn’t have the main. I asked the waiter were the food was and he commented that persons had starters and the mains would be brought out when they finished “that’s how we do it here”. I do think they should read the room better as we had finished the starters and were waiting for the mains; if I hadn’t asked I think we would have still been waiting. Plates were hot as was the food. Food was plentiful and was very nice. I have been here before and would come again; overall a nice experience.”
