● Closed“New venue for my daughter's and me. Fantastic food. Had the sea bass on a bed of mashed potatoes with pesto sauce and veg. Was really nice. My eldest she had the fish burger. Which was proper fish in batter. That was also really nice. Will definitely be visiting again. Was not very busy tonight Tuesday.”

La Terrazza - Shirley
● Closed“Fantastic food, excellent and prompt service, polite staff and at a reasonable price. This is a great restraunt, and I highly encourage you to go. They were also very understanding of dietary restrictions, and made an excellent vegan pizza for me. The place is certainly child friendly, has what looks like easy access for wheelchairs, and a couple of parking spots outside, though they're not reserved for customers. My only complaint is that I like my pizzas a little more crisp, but I'm sure they would have obliged if I had only told them that.”

The Grind Café
● Closed8 Red Lodge Road, West Wickham BR4 0EL, United Kingdom“SUMMARY: Lovely friendly cafe / restaurant. Consistently good. We've visited on different days at different times - always hard-working, polite, diligent, and serve great quality food and drinks. Today's pictures are on a Sunday and the place is very busy - but we don't mind. It can be a bit noisy - but it's a cheerful chatty noise. We have been here when it's super-quiet and peaceful, so it's up to you to choose a good time depending on your mood. THE MENUS: Great choices of breakfast, healthy options, Mediterranean, brunch, lunch and snacks. We're never bored with the choices. Today's photos are the grilled chicken salad after the gym. Substantial, fresh and delicious. See photos of the menus. PRICES: very fair and reasonable - generous portions. DECOR & COMFORT: Contemporary look, nice, comfortable and a choice of indoor and outdoor. At the rear there is more outdoor seating in a cute yard but is down some steps. THE SERVICE: Always good. Very attentive and well trained staff. Eye contact and a genuine concern to make your visit good. They will change things, fix things and want to do the right thing for you. TOILETS: Very clean, smell-free, large, adequate with baby-changing fold down table. Step-free level access for buggies and wheelchairs. See photos. BUT... no handrails for the disabled which really would be a bonus. There was a chap in a wheelchair in the café when we visited, and it would be so much better putting a few more facilities for the less able. (Additionally, the Café entrance step could be corrected to allow for step-free access. It's very small, but I know from experience that even these small steps can be stressful for the less-able.) Finally, regarding the toilets: it is a fashion these days to install really high-powered hand driers. The one in this toilet, like many, is DEAFENING. At some stage, the law will change and these will be removed. Illogically loud. (And you can't put your wet fingers in your ears whilst trying to dry your hands! ) THE LOCATION: Busy part of West Wickham near a cross roads and the local council gym-swimming pool. So, parking outside is on the meter - see photos. The street across the road is free is you can find space (except 1-2 pm, Mon-Fri... be careful, you will get a ticket!). Or, pay to use the gym car-park. OVERALL: You can see from the ratings that The Grind is well respected and loved amongst the locals, the elderly, the young, parents with children & babies, groups, alone, the lads from the gym, the girls on a chatty afternoon... well liked by all. Cheerful, lively, successful. Well done to The Grind. We'll be back!”

The Real Ale Way

Diwana Indian Restaurant
● Closed“I was here with the family for a buffet lunch. They do a 'all-you-can-eat' buffet on Sundays. You pay for the poppadoms and drinks separately although some starters like onion bhajis and samosas were included in the buffet. In all there was 18 items on offer. The food was exceptionally tasty and my daughter just couldn't get enough of the curry. The tandoori chicken was a hit with my wife as the empty plate was a testament to. The chicken jalfrezi with pilau rice I loved the most and I also sampled the biryani which was alright as well. My only criticism was that I wish there was more on offer but it's such good value that I'm sure we'll be back again. In fact, I'm looking forward to coming back. By the way, the staff were super friendly too. Always a bonus!”

Londis
● Closed“I recently bought several bottles of Royal Crown Cola from this fantastic shop. I love Royal Crown Cola and personally would recommend this drink to any person who drinks legal and victimless fluids. I will recommend this shop and will return from my boat in Marina Del Rey in the future. Trust me.”
