“We went for a tasting to try wines before purchasing for our daughter's wedding. We were served by Felix who couldn't have been more friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. They loved the amount of choice that was available. Price wise it isn't what one would call cheap, but definitely feels worth the price. Will be looking to go again before 2023”

“UPDATE I _think_ I visited here twenty years ago, however recent events and revelations suggest my recollection of the date I visited and other details may not have been as accurate as I had hoped. However I have now paid my bill in a full and agreed settlement, I hope this will close the matter. What remains certain is the quality of the food and service I received, as I wrote at the time: My daughter and her friends had a right Royal welcome and that was just the beginning - the service was fit for a Prince! And when I asked to change my order, the waiter said 'Dough balls with that sir? No sweat!' A truly memorable experience, I certainly won't forget this meal. And everyone was so discrete.”

“This place has it all! Just listen to the sound of my posted videos :) The best flavour for Chinese food. Once a week they visit our campus at Reading Uni and serve us traditional, delicious dishes. It works like a lifesaver at uni to have such a special restaurant serving at hour place. I usually go with porkbelly or beef with noodles. The meat is always soft and incredibly good spiced. The noodles absorb the sauce perfectly. I add spicy and sesame sauce along with cilantro and crushed peanuts as a topping. Definitely a must go if you are on Thursdays at Reading Uni or Wokingham.”

“I’ve tried most Chinese takeaways in woking and guildford and apart from the Beijing which is ridiculously expensive, the New Golden House is a class above the rest, I’ve now been using this place for 4 years and will never choose to order from anywhere else!!”

“I really love the Anchor. Such a fine example of a friendly, relaxed public house, and that view, it really is something to marvel. I often end up here just before the rush hour starts if the weather is nice . Weirdly I've never struggled to get a prime seat and have always been delighted by the service here. I highly recommend it to anyone looking at their watch and realising its pimms o'clock! Food looks great but that's something I am yet to try. I shall update that once I've returned but I'm sure it's just as good!”

“Recommend bring ya mates especially Tuesday and Wedensday sit in special. So I'm from Woking. I've eaten here so many times. Last 16 years I live in Thailand so I was so looking fore ward to a good curry when I got to England.I had to wait 2 years to be able to travel back to Woking. I'm so happy red Fort has survived the carnage of covid. Any how my sit in main meal was great very nice flavours and armours with excelent side dishes and all served in a good time. With attentive staff looking after me.. Super happy thank you red Fort.. C u again soon”

“The best south Indian restaurant in Woking. The dishes were authentic Madurai taste and was absolutely delicious. The manager Mr. Senthil Kumar was very caring and suggested few dishes which turned out very well. The only concern if I might add is the time taken for the preparation of dishes, but we went during Christmas Eve, which might have been the reason. Do try their dosas with various stuffing options, kari meen pozhichathu and especially masala chai. Was refreshing to see few of the dishes in tamil”

“I ordered a Hurtta coat for my dog but it didn’t fit and unfortunately I had to send it back for a bigger size, when I received it it also didn’t fit. I then spoke to Graham several times who was so helpful and understanding and he helped me find the right size for my dog and after the third order this one fits perfectly. The customer service was great and they were so helpful despite me ordering three times and sending the items back. I very much appreciate the help and advice they gave me and will definitely be ordering from them again.”
