“Amazing place, wonderful staff, all were friendly and helpful! I'm not a steak person but for the first time I tasted a bit of my friends steak and it was actually really good - they referred to this as amazing and said it 'cuts like butter' the steak lovers loved it!! The ribs were absolutely delicious and fish and chips were also nice. All other side bits such as the mac n cheese, garlic mushrooms, Chirozo and garlic bread were also all very tasty. Although we were stuffed we went for sticky toffee pudding(also a first for me) which was very tasty and considering I am generally a chocolate person this was a great alternative. Will definitely be returning to try their buttermilk chicken (which had run out) and the gigantic fudge cake! :0)”

“I took my parcel to MJ Food & Wine, they dealt with it swiftly and I got a text later on to say it had been received by them, they were nice and friendly and also tried to help me to find some WD40 in their shop, which unfortunately they were out of but they were they had a good thorough look for it! “Came across this place last night, the staff were just about to close but they went out of their way to accommodate us! Nothing was too much hassle which really impressed me considering they probably just wanted to get home! Had a Chicken Burger & can honestly say it was probably nicest I've ever tasted! Hygiene is of the upmost importance to them also as we seen how thorough they were in cleaning the place after they had closed the doors but happily let us eat our food. 10/10 would recommend to a friend & if I'm in the area again will definitely make sure to visit!”

I called the store, ordered my items and the friendly staff delivered it to my door. “Just want to say we had a great evening here a couple of Saturdays ago. There was a glitch with the online booking system which meant they were not expecting the 10 of us, but Saraswati made arrangements to find us a suitable area of the restaurant swiftly. The food was great and she was really passionate about her restaurant and advising which food options to try. We would return for sure!!”

“I booked my table online 20mins before arrival, but it did look like they would have space for walk-ins, 8pm Thurs evening. Very nicely decorated, the DJ was amazing!! The heater system is great, I didn't feel cold at all. Drinks were half price - I'm not sure why. I had the lamb burger which was delicious, and a mango mocktail. Very filling. I did see some people order a dry ice decorated dessert which looked fun. And a few birthdays - the staff come out with candles and birthday music. The shisha was great, smooth, disposal pipes - Using a heat management system, lasted 2hrs. I would visit again.”

“Been here a few times for lunch. Good varied menu very reasonable prices good quality cooked meals. Cafe is bright and clean nice atmosphere gets crowded at lunchtimes. Also supports a good cause go along and enjoy. Also had a nice pot of tea one afternoon served with a proper cup and saucer. You dont find that in many cafes these days.”

“Huge Ember Inns pub where we enjoyed a pint and a mixed grill one warm early afternoon. We were the only ones in at that time, but I can imagine it getting busy with drinkers and foodies alike. Would definitely return if we're ever in that area of London again, and maybe stay for more than one next time.”
