“I would like to thank the two lovely ladies at The Florist who saved the day for me yesterday. With only 4 hours to go until my hen party started, the company I had booked to do my table centre pieces and decor let me down and cancelled. My mum called this florist who we have never used before (but we definitely be using again) to ask if they had any artificial flowers we could use. I quickly drove to their shop and they offered to make me something with what they had in stock using fresh flowers. Well… in just over an hour they created the most STUNNING centre piece that made our table looked like a wedding. I could not believe how beautiful it was. “As a trained florist, flowers are so important to me. I contacted Kathy (The Biggin Hill Florist) for my father's funeral who was local to where my dad lived. We exchanged a few emails and calls to discuss creating a colourful, textured and wild looking set of displays as my dad was a landscape gardener. I wanted the funeral flowers to reflect his style. Kathy understood this very clearly and added her own style which looked absolutely incredible. It was a shock to step out and see my dad's coffin - I wasn't prepared for that to effect me in the way in did. But a great distraction was looking at the beautiful flowers surrounding it. The owner was friendly and helpful, and prepared a pretty selection of high quality spring flowers including (among others) beautiful anemones, irises, fragrant stocks and narcissi. The store was set up Covid safe while still enabling customers to see the available flowers. I'll pop in again!”
