“We visited on 11/2/23 Saturday late lunch 14:20 ish. There was a very warm welcome and a choice of seating for us and plenty more. The volume of customers was just right not too many and not empty despite the lateness of the time. I chose the Organic fillet of Salmon. Organic Salmon fillet pan fried in unsalted butter with crushed fresh herbs and white wine (optional), topped with roasted almond flakes served with sautéed spinach and roasted sweet potatoes. I didn’t recognise the sweet potatoes because they were white tasted just as good. It all tasted just as expected and I loved the sauce although I would have liked a little more. The salad had a lot of dressing so I would ask for no dressing next time. As we didn’t order a starter, we were offered some olives to keep us going as all the food is freshly cooked. My husband chose Adana Shoulder of lamb minced, blended with spices and herbs, char-grilled and served on lavash bread with bulgur, salad and sliced red onions. This was tasty but very spicy so he asked for a yogurt dip which made all the difference. (I don’t know it’s proper name). He also ordered chips which arrived (thermally) very hot. My only comment is that the plates could’ve been warm to keep the food warmer for longer. We don’t eat very quickly. The food came in good time. We didn’t have pudding as it was already a late lunch. A lovely complimentary square of sponge, soaked in something delicious like honey, arrived while we were waiting to pay. We had a lovely conversation with the waitress who was from Ukraine, and had been in the country several years. The menu is very extensive and each dish has a picture which is always helpful with such innovative looking food.”

“Tapas style Middle Eastern restaurant. Book your table in advance as its a small restaurant. The food has great flavours. The lamb is my favourite dish. The scallops are also very delicious. Don’t forget to order hummus and pita bread. The chocolate and tahini mousse is good and comes in a very cute little mug. It’s a good place for family and small groups. Very friendly staff and quick service.”

“Been meaning to visit this place after seeing it recommended and it did not disappoint. Visited on a Sunday evening when it wasn’t too busy, Service was excellent and the food was just delicious and tasty, food is well seasoned and salad is fresh, loved the rice too, will definitely be returning.”

“All the reviews are not wrong! The best Turkish food I have eaten in a very long time! Other places over spice everything but not here it's a perfect mix of ingredients and let's you taste the meat and vegetables... I ate so much but did not feel the slightest bit of bloatedness that I normally have after a heavy meal.. and the lovely waitress was wonderful and so attentive.. excellent customer service by farctge best service on the whole of Green Lanes if not all of North London!”

“I’ve been to many Turkish restaurants in London and I have to say that this ranks at the top. The chicken was extremely soft and juicy, the lamb chops and lamb sish were cooked to perfection and the Adana had interesting herbs. Overall the meat was very juicy. I’d recommend mixed grill as the main and the Hummus with Lamb as the starters. Also their garlic and Chili sauce was very good!”

“Love the food at this recent find - classic Indian/Pakistani dishes, done really well and at a very reasonable price. The weekend special biryanis are among the best I’ve tried in London, and a bargain at £5 to take away. The freshly made naan at a mere 70p is nothing to be sniffed at too. I definitely need to explore more of telegram menu. In terms of vegetarian items, the tarka daal was excellent.”

“We had a lovely afternoon lunch of chicken shish, salmon, prawns, hallumi served with lovely flatbread and cous cous. The restaurant was clean and bright. Staff super friendly and the new manager made us feel very welcome and helpful with food choices. Still full a day later!”

“Absolutely delicious food. I ordered the Mixed Kofte with Couscous (or Bulgar). The friendly staff brought out salad and pitta bread to accompany the main meal. The lamb and chicken were cooked to perfection and the Efes beer was tasty too! I thoroughly recommend this restaurant and will be returning again on our next concert trip to Wembley!”

“Very nice BBQ meat at fair prices and they don't charge service like it says on the menu, which was a big win. Portions maybe slightly small, if you are sharing might be better to get larger platters (but obviously more expensive). Ezme was also great and I really enjoyed. Turkish lemonade was not limonata be warned. And I was disappointed they don't do pides anymore as I was looking forward to trying them. But overall a nice experience, great meat and responsive and polite waiters.”

“I absolutely loved the food. It was cooked to perfection. Even though we had booked in advance we still had to wait a little but it was well worth it. The meats are delicious and scrumptious. There is enough taste and flavour and a decent portion size. We couldn’t finish it all but could take it home which is a bonus. No food wasted. It’s an absolutely treat to go with friends or family or even for a date. I would definitely recommend and come back.”

“The first thing to praise is the atmosphere, authentic interior and low key music create an immediate buzz. The menu was great, every sharing plate we ordered was delicious and it was reasonably priced to top it off! Highly recommend!!”

“I would give this restaurant a 5 stars for accommodating us and for the atmosphere. We ate here as a last minute idea for a friend's birthday. We had a dog with us and we weren't sure the place was dog friendly. It wasn't, but the owner suggested that we could tie up the dog in the back and they even offered him a large portion of leftover Shwarma, what a treat for the pup! Then, we ordered food and enjoyed some upbeat music. The food I would say is 4.0 because it was mediocre in flavour. It wasn't the best Turkish food I've had, but the portion size was huge and worth the value. The meat was not as flavourful as I expected and could have used more salt and spices. I did really like the sauces and the starter bread with sauces that they give on the house. They also gave my friend a baklava on the house for her birthday with candles on it! In addition, the owner and service staff was very nice and friendly. We had flowers with us and they gave us a bucket to place them in. All in all, we were very happy with the accommodations they made for us on our last minute birthday gathering and are really thankful to them. 5 stars overall.”

“Great Turkish food. We had hot mezzes platter, grilled onion and drinks. The mezze platter and salads were very tasty. Don’t miss out on the grilled onion very tasty. Something incredible that the food is served at the perfect temperature. Fast service. Well done guys. Price wise, it’s neither cheap nor expensive. It’s good pricing for the portions they serve In terms of drinks virgin pina colada was definitely not worth it but the tea is beautiful. Overall staff are very friendly and they are dog friendly in the outside area which is very nice. I would visit again!”

“My Turkish friend recommended this authentic small owned restaurant hidden in Angel and it is such a treat. We come here for the fresh, homemade baklava and were never disappointed. The service is wonderful, and they even have our teas for free as they recognised us! Such a lovely place and will definitely be returning soon.”
