“Made a reservation before coming here on a Thursday night after work and was happy that we did because 15 minutes after we sat down the restaurant was already half-filled! Last time I came here was 4 years ago and this time round I ordered the exact same dish - Kaisen don, and its safe to say that this place managed to keep it's high standard! I was very happy with the food as the sashimi was extremely fresh, came in a big portion with a layer of rice at the bottom. Thoroughly enjoyed every single bite of it and even though it's now £15 more expensive than 4 years ago I thought it was a nice treat since I don't come here often. Service was friendly, only downside was that the waiters didn't seem to be attentive enough as we had to wait and eventually ask them to come over and take our order. Other than that we had a very enjoyable experience overall. The interior is very authentic, homely, Japanese style which made me feel like I was back in Japan. Definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic Japanese food and I will for sure come back here soon to try other things on the menu!”

“Lovely vibrant place with friendly waiters and good food. I went on an open mike day where people went to sing with the band. Really fantastic experience. The people who went up to sing were incredibly professional and many did their own version of cover songs. Book your seats as it became crowded very quickly.”

“We came to Sexy Fish for our company Christmas party, as we came here previously in 2019 and the experience was enjoyed by all. This was the first year we managed to come back. We all enjoyed trying the varied cocktails. The food was amazing as always, of particular note was the Wagyu fillet, and the pork belly skewers which were spectacular. The sushi ordered was also well received by all members of the party, and the wine and whisky recommendations were excellent as well. It is a bit of a shame you cannot have the table for longer than 2 hours, but I do understand this is their peak time.”

Very pleased with the portions as well, they give you plenty l couldn’t finish it at all. The chips were the best I’ve had with any donner meal soo far and their salad portions are very generous too. “Jumped on here to say that we just ordered 2 poke bowls and some sushi and our order is absolutely divine! The poke was particularly fresh - we ordered the creamy tuna and salmon poke. At the time of writing, there was a 2 for one offer for katsu sushi so we ordered that too - also incredibly tasty. I definitely recommend and will also be ordering again.”

“Very good sushi in elegant, yet cosy, settings. The tuna tartare presentation and balance of flavours were up to the level of a Michelin star restaurant and the maki were flavoursome and fresh. We were really impressed by the homemade ice-cream with a selection of unusual flavours including miso and sesame. The staff is extremely welcoming, offering exceptional customer service. “Ordered for the first time tonight as part of their grand opening. And oh my god, absolutely faultless. Everything was fresh, flavourful and absolutely delicious. “Vesuvio's did not disappoint us for our Valentines meal. Great portion sizes and excellent friendly service with a smile. I had the bruschetta to start which was so good, the balance of the garlic and dressing with the sharpness of the tomatoes was perfect. For mains I wanted the seafood risotto which wasn't on the special valentines menu but they were so accommodating and said they would give me it anyway and it was delicious. Perfectly cooked and perfectly emulsified making it decadent and creamy also very generous with the seafood. For dessert I had Tiramisu, again proper nice and creamy. Lovely soft biscuits soaked in coffee that tasted so clean, cold and fresh. We will be coming back 100% Keep it up Vesuvio's you're doing such a good job at creating an amazing, relaxing atmosphere.”

“Excellent pizza! This new discovered pizzeria surprised me with an authentic pizza romana hard to find in London. The pizza is thin, and crispy unlike the also good but chewier classic Neapolitan pizza found everywhere in London. I suggest you give it a try. The pizzeria is very nice with a secret garden in the back. Worth a visit!”

“Fantastic little Sushi takeaway and Japanese food mart. The fish was beautiful and fresh, the sushi rice well cooked and the wasabi hot. To top it all, service was exemplary and there are 4 seats in the window where you can eat in, which we did - good job as we went back a few times. Washed down with a few cups of Veg miso made a fantastic Sat morning. One grumble would be the use of those damn plastic fish of soy.... Unnecessary use of plastic guys. Highly recommended though.”
