“First time visit was the first day of business! Very beautiful shop with a large variety of japanese grocery and sushi. There are so many options when it comes to sushi and sashimi.. some are not even available in high end restaurants! Definitely will visit again!”

“I just happened to come across “The Sushi Co” while going somewhere else. The staff were incredibly nice and detail-oriented. I had a Salmon Orange box and a Miso soup and it was A-ok. Listen, it’s not glamorous, high-end, sushi, but if you manage those expectations, it’s a good, nice, quick place to grab a bite to eat.”

“PO PO was awesome, a great local find. The sushi tasted fresh, it was great value and good portion sizes. The service was friendly. We dined in, and were only ones there and it's quite brightly lit so definitely more of a quick bite or takeout than a vibey evening place. Please open some weekday lunchtimes!”

“Doesn't look much from the outside, but this sushi is absolutely delicious! Fresh and very well made, the chef really knows what he is doing. Personally don't like mayo in sushi but that's personal preference and they always make mine without. Bravo!”

“Visited the walthamstow branch and was very impressed. Really good pizza. Really lovely staff. Had the Mediterranean mezze which had balsamic vinegar on and it was delicious. Its nice to find a place with actually good food! We will definitely be back.”

“Fantastic little Sushi takeaway and Japanese food mart. The fish was beautiful and fresh, the sushi rice well cooked and the wasabi hot. To top it all, service was exemplary and there are 4 seats in the window where you can eat in, which we did - good job as we went back a few times. Washed down with a few cups of Veg miso made a fantastic Sat morning. One grumble would be the use of those damn plastic fish of soy.... Unnecessary use of plastic guys. Highly recommended though.”

“An authentic taste of Detroit in London! As a resident of the great city of Detroit I consider myself an expert in this pizza category. The crust was amongst the best I’ve had, crispy and light, it held the authentic sauce well and the cheese blend was unique to the pie, providing a familiar and welcomed twist on this classic square deep dish with crispy edges. I found a true taste of home in an unexpected city. I’d eat this pizza anywhere in the world. Loved it and will be sending many your way!”

“I had to leave a review because when I say this is the best sushi my partner and I have ever had and think will probably ever have it isn’t an understatement. We have compared every place we have had sushi at since and nothing ever even compares to the standard of sushi here. Yes, it’s a bit pricier but it is well worth it for just how good it is. Cannot fault the service and hospitality of staff, lovely cute little restaurant just be sure to book on weekends because it does get busy☺️”

They have great vegetarian and vegan options and the food is amazing. A very small place with only one table so it's best to take the food away but it's the perfect small restaurant to get food from when you are in the area.”

“Fantastic little sushi place - so tasty and really well priced! Everything was super fresh, authentic and the taste was top notch. Generous portions, lovely staff, menu easy to follow and order from. The restaurant itself is tiny so reservations are recommended. I tried the twmpura prawn sushi roll and we ordered another portion, it was that good. Nigiri selection was a fun way of trying a variety of fish, and (surprisingly) the pumpkin croquettes were the best I've had in my life (wouldn't have expected that from a humble pumpkin!). Overall a fantastic experience. A tiny let down was the dessert, Japanese cake with red bean paste. It was just a pre-packaged pancake from a powder with bean paste served cold. Definitely did not enjoy that, but the place is known for its sushi not its desserts! The sushi is 10/10, just go elsewhere for dessert.”

Alex is a warm and attentive host with newbies(of Japanese cuisine), staff are genuinely supportive and informative about the stunning and tasty dishes. Also grateful for the recommendations to other bars in Amersham (The Beech house). Koyo is a worthy Japanese SUSHI experience, please book as space is limited. Food is freshly made and competitively priced. Alcohol is available, traditionally Japanese beers and wines as well as quality champagne and fine wines. Located 8mins walk from the Metropolitan train station. Though myself being a little lazy came by taxi from Uxbridge. Certainly worthwhile.”

“Really nice place so surprised we only came just now because we love Japanese food and we live close. When we got there we were greeted by both the manager and the sushi chef both very friendly people. The ambiance of the restaurant was beautiful felt like we were in Japan. we had a few starters to begin in the middle of the table everything tasted so nice and for mains we had a couple of the bento's also very nice the salmon teriyaki and the gyozas were to die for finally a place that makes there own gyozas, definitely coming back soon and many more times in the future.”
