“Fresh fish cooked to order and very generous portions. Extremely attentive staff if you have food allergies or on special diet. Fish was grilled because of gluten intolerance but was informed by manager they have gluten free batter which is fab, so next time I'll order that. Highly recommend.”

“It was a beautiful place. The owner was so friendly and was able to make most dishes no spicy and delicious at the same time which was great otherwise I would have not be able to eat it. Would definitely go again. Their menu is confusing to understand but if you ask the staff, they are happy to explain and tell you what they have. “This Saturday, we had been to Shobha,s Rasoi. One thing to keep in mind there there is no parking for Shobha Rasoi and its on the Harrow High Stree but you can park your car in spencer lane which has free parking but spaces are limited. We were not aware of so we parked our car in Locket lane which is charged parking but after 4 pm its free as it was mentioned. We reached there after 7 pm so it was not an issue parking over there. Then we went to Shobha Rasoi. When we entered gate, there was an arrangement for hand sanitizer and once you confirm your booking, you would be accompanied by staff to the relevant place. Although not big but ambience was amazing. All staffs were very nice. We had placed an order for starter and the service was really very quick. We ordered our main courses in anticipation that probably it would take time but before we could finish our starter we got our main courses. Foods my god , it was super delicious. We had got this type of delicious foods after very long time. The taste was like we used to have in India in restaurants. Its really worth visiting this restaurant if you have never been over there.”

“The best Afghani food I’ve had in london at @balkhrestaurant in Kenton. The last time I had Afghan food this good was in Munich in 2019! I was mega hungry after cycling for 90 mins and doing 4 1/2 hours of climbing. In ordered the Qabli Palow (lamb shank with rice) and Mantu (Lamb Dumpling). Both were generous portions and absolutely delicious. I had Dough (yogurt based) to drink. Service was friendly and professional. They also gave me a little bit of home made ice cream on the house. Definitely be returning here again soon.”

“I booked my table online 20mins before arrival, but it did look like they would have space for walk-ins, 8pm Thurs evening. Very nicely decorated, the DJ was amazing!! The heater system is great, I didn't feel cold at all. Drinks were half price - I'm not sure why. I had the lamb burger which was delicious, and a mango mocktail. Very filling. I did see some people order a dry ice decorated dessert which looked fun. And a few birthdays - the staff come out with candles and birthday music. The shisha was great, smooth, disposal pipes - Using a heat management system, lasted 2hrs. I would visit again.”

The live music created a good vibe - thought to be honest, initially we thought it was too loud but as time went on, the ambience got better and the music too! The service was brilliant as well. With his guidance we braught a nice selection of barfi and various Indian sweets. We have been using shayona for almost 8 years now so we're excited when we saw this new branch being opened near us.
