“I ordered starters crispy squid, gizzard and there was another order of chofi. Must say the squid wasn’t nice at all. It was shaped like nuggets not your usual ring shape which made it taste battery instead of tasting the actual squid quite disappointing. Must say the rest of the starters that was ordered were really nice and well seasoned. Also the moko it came with was delicious. I got jollof as takeaway yet to taste it. Deffo do recommend this restaurant service was great.”

“I went through this place and I was extremely surprised when I tried the food. It was like all the greatest pleasures in life wrapped in the delicious food. It was absolutely a poem to be able to feel the delicious food on my palate. The unparalleled attention, incredible decoration and cleanliness. I will definitely return to this incredible place on my next vacation. It's only 5 stars because I would give them 10.”

“Best Chinese around! I moved to Tooting a couple of years ago and had been trying to find a good Chinese until I found this place. It doesn't deliver but well worth the 30 minute round walk because the food is so good. Fresher, tastier and miles better value than anything on Uber Eats or Deliveroo. And they are always extremely friendly. Highly recommend!”

“really cosy lovely local south indian restaurant the people who work here are so welcoming and friendly the food was delicious i loved the onion salad and the popadoms especially the beetroot pickle—the prawn puri starter was delicious fresh little prawns with a really tasty bread. we had the green lamb curry which was so good i love the green sauce very delicious. my favourite was the keralan fish curry the loo is so beautiful it’s like a spa loo ! my new favourite restaurant in tooting i think! xx”

“It's a very welcoming place. The restaurant has a rating of 5 for food hygiene. We were greeted by a lovely lady with beautiful smile. She served us complimentary olives as soon as we sat down to look at the menu. The restaurant is well kept and even the toilet is clean. We opted for the main menu: mixed grill platter and lamb shawarma. These were excellent choices and the portions were quite generous. The mix meats on the mixed grill were all expertly grilled, spiced and so tender. The delicious spicy sauce heightened the taste. The shawarma came with either chips or rice. I opted for the latter one but to my surprise it also came with flat bread to soak up the juices. The lamb was tender and juicy. We enjoyed our meal and capped it with mint tea. The tea was freshly made and we were given another complimentary sweet pudding. What a lovely way to end the day! It's highly recommended and we'll go back there again.”

“I came here for a wedding reception. Food was good, yet I do understand the food wasn't hot. This didn't bother me as the taste was excellent. The music was a bit loud, but this didn't bother me as the music selections were tremendous. Everyone had a blast and there were no issues. Come on folks, it's a party!”

“A lot of bad reviews below for delivery times , however went to the shop with 5 friends, I ordered a half pounder meal and some BBQ wings and I've got to say, they were both very very good. Really enjoyed the food, and also done fairly quickly. Will return if in the area.”

“I tried to leave a review on Just Eat, but couldn't find a way to do it, so leaving here. The food was lovely, so delicious, hot and fresh. I wish I could order directly for delivery as am reliant on the food delivery apps, which do not provide the information. My food was delivered on time, but I think this was all due to the restaurant as Just Eat did not follow up with me. Definitely ordering from Xu Sheng again, but maybe will collect as I don't trust Just Eat. Delicious, hot and generous portions!”
