“If someone close to you lives in a park (mobile) home and needs to move into a care home or extra-care accommodation, you need to know that your local council CANNOT include the value of their property when assessing their care costs, because a mobile home is considered chattel. This is something David brought to my attention and, as a result, saved our family thousands of pounds. My parents' property will now be inherited, in full, by their children, just as they wished. David has a wealth of experience in this field, which he initially put at our disposal - for free - during a long telephone conversation where he explained the legal position relating to the above. Since then, for a modest fee, he put together a report which, if necessary, we could put before our local council to support our case.
