“Absolutely love this park, beautiful scenic, peaceful as well as busy and loads of things on. Cold water swimming and paddle boarding can be booked online, and is super popular in the summer. Amazing swimming for dogs in the river and some man made mud ponds! Forest and space as well as a wonderful cafe with vegan options! Huge children’s play area, pop up festivals and a second hand clothes sand furniture shop where I’ve jabbed a bargain or two! Parking is expensive but plenty of free nearby - if you don’t mind walking in. Probably my favourite park in London.”

“We love this venue. It is a beautiful space for parties or weddings if you book enough in advance to get a slot. The rooms have views over the park, the events team are really helpful. The ceilings have stunning wedgewood style designs. There is an air of faded grandeur that we really loved. The team recommend reliable caterers and a lighting business who know how to make the best of the venue. Highly recommended.”

“First impressions when walking into this place is that they’ve clearly tried to set themselves apart here in terms of decor. Environment is modern yet also warm with a few individual touches that gives the place personality. We came on a weekday so the bar on the ground floor was pretty empty but can imagine is a good place to have a couple of drinks before headed upstairs to the restaurant. There is a good range of meats and seafood on the menu, and with a good selection on the set menu choices also. Although did enjoy the food nothing really “outstanding”. My latte was well balanced with great texture and the lady serving was really knowledgeable about the coffees they stocked and methods of preparation. “My son is three and we had an emergency visit to Beckenham Dental Centre at the weekend to check on his front teeth after an injury to his mouth. They were so good with him, checking Winston and Reindeer's 'teeth' first to put him at ease. They took their time with him, letting him play in the chair and use the mirror on his soft toys.To my amazement, he complied with having his teeth and mouth checked by Anastasia and the dental nurses. They totally put him at ease and overcame his anxiety and joyously everyone left with a sticker. If you have children, Beckenham Dental Centre will take care to ensure positive early experiences of visiting the dentist. Highly recommended for families.”

“Medivet Beckenham are awesome vets. My dog has been ill for about 4 months & despite having to go for monthly blood tests she loves this practice. She pulls towards the door & the vets are always very friendly, with time for her. There's a lovely friendly vibe here that you don't often get in modern practice settings. And you know if my dog is happy I am happy because my dog's the customer.”

“The first time visiting this restaurant and I was pleasently surprised. My friend and I went out for a catch up meal, we were greeted by a very warm waitress and our waiter was very polite and kind. The service was amazing, answering questions and also happy to mix up a mocktail for me. The food came beautifully presented and tasted lovely. I would say the only down side is there is only 1 toilet but it was clean and easy access. The tom yum soup tasted amazing and the noodles I ordered were exactly what I wanted. My friend was very happy with her choice of rice and Thai green curry. Will definitely be returning!! The waiter was a young gentleman who was very friendly and kind, means alot to have great service!!”

“This was my favourite place to stay on our holiday to the UK. So much so that I came back for the last two nights, in order to prepare for the long flight home. Friendly, happy staff who run a clean and homely place to stay. Walking distance to anything one could possibly need, with Beckenham being one of the more relaxed towns that I visited. I couldn't have asked for more, I hope that one day I'll return.”

“I had the most amazing lunch here. Food was great. Was served by an AMAZING young man who sadly doesn't normally work at that branch. Drinks were awesome and our waiter was happy to make menu adjustments for me. I have already booked to return with my mother and son!”

“I can't speak highly enough of Ladybird and their lovely staff. Our son was in the caterpillar room (for 6 months to 2 year-olds) through a very tumultuous 2020, and they were brilliant. He took a while to settle but the staff were always so caring, to him and us. They'd often call to let us know if he'd had a difficult time at drop-off, which was a big relief. He developed so much whilst there, and you could tell how much he loved his carers, and his new friends. As a new-ish parent, sending your little one away to spend all day with strangers is daunting, but you couldn't be in better hands with Ladybird. They became like an extended family, and we were so sad to leave when we moved house. We'll miss you all!”
