Family holidays by water in London

“Really great way to spend a summer day. Easy to book but accepting walk ins (at least in the morning). It gets pretty crowded but not unmanageable. You need to put your towel on the ground that is concrete but the pool is not overcrowded. Remember to take 1 pound for the lockers (retrievable). They have a cafe that serves coffee, drinks and food through the day. If you book morning you can stay practically the whole day. There is enough place decaded for both free swimming and the professional swimming. Highly recommend!”

“Best way to see London and eayiest way to get into the centre and to Greenwich. Cheaper then the river bus if you show the ticket office a travel card or Oyster card. Takes the same amount if time as the river bus. Double decker boats, open top desk. Coffee and food, snacks and bar all on the boat and bathrooms. Live or recorded commentary in English but free headphone so you can hear 7 other languages. Friendly staff, amazing views. They also offer special boats for Afternoon tea, Lunch or Dinner cruises also very good. If you want to go to a London attraction you can save money by buying the tickets with City Cruises. Highly recommend this, better then sitting the tube / subway train in London.”

“Went there to celebrate my birthday with my family. What a lovely evening. Food was great, lovely wine(Viognier) and the service was excellent. The manager there is fantastic, he really looked after us and I must say I cannot praise him enough. “My pizza was great! The choice was fairly varied but adding toppings was handy too. Fried zucchini snack was great & the sgroppino cocktail was well nice. Our server was very friendly & service was efficient though it was a quiet time.”

“Decided to give this restaurant a try. Have lived in Kensal rise for many years and have always walked by. Having read the most recent reviews on taste, I must say they are not wrong. Friendly welcome. Food portions are good. Food quality is brilliant. Food is fresh, not oily and very tasty. Chicken and prawn puree starters were delicious. Korma was light and very coconutty, Rogan Josh was full of flavour, mutton biryani was great soft tender lamb pieces, vegetarian thali was great and the pathia was very spicy but tasty. Price is pretty decent. It's such a shame the place isn't busier because it's an amazing little place. Will definitely be coming back.”

“Adventure playground, maze, softplay area, bouncy slide, trampolines, quad bikes and cheap snacks - made a day of it as it wasn't busy. We love that there was a lot of things to do for the kids, we even get the chance to see Stewart (Minions). Definitely worth coming back.”

“Amenities brilliant Due to snow and ice and then rain the laundrette pipes froze. They were quickly fixed which was a godsend with 3 dogs in a caravan Very helpful and friendly staff. If you have dogs there are loads of good walks one leads to a lovely pub too.”

“Facility is awsome. Comes with private car parking, separate showers, toilets, changing room and observations area. Swiming pool is warm and clean. This place is very quiet and we love it. Management is very helpful and keep us updated. Instructors are mature females, very professional, focused, dedicated, knowledgeable and hardworking. Always ready in swimming pool and punctuaI. No time wasting. My kids age 7 and 6 enjoying their first private 1 on 1 sessions, became water confident, always learning & developing new skills and techniques. I highly appreciate Seema (dedicated swimming instructor) with us from day 1. I highly rate this place and recommend to parents who want their kids to learn swimming the right way first time.”

“Had some food here and it was great. Really good quality. All sourced locally too. Staff are excellent and since changing thier name and ownership it has seen some great improvements. They also have a working fire which was a really good feature that creates a great vibe and atmosphere”
