“Fab 7th Birthday Party! We celebrated my daughter’s 7th birthday with her friends today. Special thanks to the host Sherry! She was super attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The kids really enjoyed the jumping and the pizzas were fresh and yummy. The jacket potato could have done with more topping- hardly any cheese or beans, but other than that a lovely party!”

“Genuinely gorgeous food and especially cakes, wow! Tried a cake today (lime something) possibly one of the top 3 desserts I ever had. Staff are very friendly and polite, and the manager is an angel! Charming and sweet makes the experience even better. We ordered rustic dog meal, sourdough toast with avocado and the cake I mentioned above and some skin on fries. Fries genuinely tasted like potatoes which is an experience I only had in really rare times. Beautify taste and beautiful atmosphere and just really lovely food and customer service. A manager who shows that she doesn’t just care about her customers but also about her staff. Definitely will be there again. Highly recommended!”

“I had a fantastic breakfast here with family on the Easter bank holiday Monday. The café was fairly busy but service was prompt and the staff were friendly. The food was great - I had the "Hangover" breakfast - and there was just so much of it. I rarely visit Borehamwood but if I return I will be back for another breakfast.”

“A pleasant surprise and break from the mediocrity of the local restaurants. Expensive (although visited during eat out to help out scheme) but with great food, you should definitely check Balagan out. I ordered a schnitzel meal, which came accompanied by chips and salad. The schnitzel was crispy and tasty albeit a little on the small side, but the chips were incredible. Super soft and wonderfully unprocessed, these were by far the best chips I’ve had in a while. Salad was good as well, and the Oreo milkshake was decent for a Parve option. Shawarma was also great as well as falafel, and the pita that came with the meal was really great and authentic, you could definitely tell it had been grilled a little. Staff were quick to check up on us and ensure the meal was fine, and it was nice sitting outside. Great experience overall.”

“Having just bought a brand new house, my husband and I had been looking everywhere for a nice dining set and matching living room furniture for both the kitchen and for our dining/living room. They looked after our furniture, wore shoe bags, assembled everything and took rubbish away! We are absolutely over the moon with our kitchen dining set, our dining room set and the occasional and living room furniture we bought, which matches perfectly and fits in around the sofa's we have. The quality of the furniture is Fantastic and has already been complimented on by family and friends. “I will start by saying that I am a coffee lover and this Starbucks in probably one of the best. The coffee is always amazing and the staff are just the best. Little to say that my dog loves it as well and it became part of our morning routine to stop and have well deserved coffee and papuccino.”

“For pub type food this was excellent. Friendly staff, served efficiently (bar coffee at the end). Four of us, drinks, mains and puddings £75 after 25% gym discount - great value. Good car parking as well. Loved the big screens and table football to keep our grandson occupied. Think my wife’s comment on the way home summed it up ‘would go there again!’.”
