Excellent service standard in Cobham

“Hands down some of the best fish shop food i’ve eaten and I spent my childhood in Cornwall. I ended up eating £35 worth of battered goodness in one greasy sitting. All human reflexes left my body and I simply devoured every last amber coloured flake of batter. The next day I spent the morning in the shower, contemplating the animalistic impulse that washed over me, undoing millennia of psychological evolution in one crispy bite. As much as I’d love to return, I simply won’t be able to contain myself if I were to go back to this chippy, I may devolve to a lower state of consciousness. Because of this fried establishment, I must contemplate a life without Cobham Fish Bar’s scran. This leaves an immensely sad feeling within me. I hope you enjoy their food as much as I did. As for the comments relating to the wait time, the wait is irrelevant. If you’re visiting for some stale trawler caught cod, then look elsewhere. The fish is cooked right before your very eyes by keen employees that exist only for us humans culinary enjoyment. They show a genuine interest in the customers day and diligently go through your order to ensure that there are no dinner-time disasters. This team envisage “Quae Sursum Sunt Quaerite”.”

“Had day surgery for bowel cancer screening and although they were running late I felt the staff were extremely caring and kept me informed all through my treatment. The air conditioning wasn't working on the hottest day of the year for which they kept apologising but my concern was more for them than me as they would have to suffer all day. Cannot fault any aspect of my experience and feel very lucky to be able to have this procedure available to me. Thank you all so much.”

“I booked M&C as a present for my parents who moved into their new house, their comments were that they could not have been more polite and professional young men and that they did the most fantastic job on the windows left them totally sparkling clean with no smears. “Lyndon came to view to provide an estimate - on time, efficient. Recommended a specific cleaning method. Checked a few days before the scheduled cleaning date to ensure all still OK. Arrived with an assistant, on time and got to work. Result is really impressive - we live next to a wood and have recently had a lot of building work done so the stone was really dirty - black in places - and with new stone on the extension easy to see how bad it was. Looks great - took them all day, but well worth the cost for me. Highly recommend.”
