“Have been eating here since I was a small child although it was the starburger then I believe and I am sure they used to serve Sunday roast and desert. (edit try still do!) :-) Anyway the food is always good and what you would expect from a cafe. Any mistakes are always swiftly rectifies in the rare event there is one. The kids Love eating here and my daughter has asked if she can have a birthday party here. Would always recommend this fabulous family run cafe.”

“I have used the services at Bark Lane for my dog Dixie she is a very large breed and is quite a nervous dog. She was immediately put at ease with Krystal,who seems to have the magic touch She even cut her nails, no one has ever been able to attempt this. “The drinks selection was vast with a lovely presentation glass of the Amaretto. The decor of the staff and restaurant is admirable. Contemporary yet approachable. The food service was prompt and friendly with a lovely young waitress who served the dinner with a smile. To start, we ordered Thai dumplings; steamed to a delicious level of softness.The dumplings set the bar high for the rest of the meal. The main course was a aromatic Pad Guay Teaw Kee-Mao, a perfect level of spice for those who enjoy a slight kick, with tender prawns and adequetly cooked noodles. The bar was set high, to finish the meal we decided to share a plate of the banana fritters. Served with vanilla ice cream it was a tasty combination of sweet and savoury; however the fritters themself were a tad oily and the ice cream was fast to melt. I would recommend a different bowl for the ice cream next time. As a whole the experience was memorable, approachable and professional. A must visit for those who are a fan of Thai food. Would certainly comeback to try the rest of the menu.”

“Great place, does events, event hire, pantomimes and charity events. Has a bar and backs onto the rec but has its own separate outdoor area. Reasonable prices. They cater to your needs if hiring the hall and they really do make it look pretty.”

“Have been with Natalie for several years now, learning as an adult (I'm 32) doing a mix of solo dancing and ceili (group) dancing, along with my mum (late 50s) and sisters. Natalie is amazing, and very accommodating to our abilities and outside pressures - ie missing classes for childcare issues or work - but endeavours as much as possible to put us in displays and competitions. i'll be competing for the 4th year running with family in tow in the adult ceili great british championships in October! We came third last year!”
