The staff are welcoming, the food is absolutely fantastic (hot honey chicken burger is to die for), and the kids food is great value. “I had a good experience at Gaucho. It’s a great nearby steakhouse if you’re staying in the Piccadilly area. The steak and bread appetizer tasted great. However I wasn’t the biggest fan of their mashed potatoes. The waiter explained each steak they offer and was very welcoming. The steaks are a bit pricey as it came to around £70 for one person. Overall it was a great experience and the restaurant was nicely decorated.”

“My Turkish friend recommended this authentic small owned restaurant hidden in Angel and it is such a treat. We come here for the fresh, homemade baklava and were never disappointed. The service is wonderful, and they even have our teas for free as they recognised us! Such a lovely place and will definitely be returning soon.”

“This place has one of the best food we’ve had in London on our journey so far. The cheese croquette and meatballs are very delicious. We had the arroz negra for mains and it was quite an experience. I would definitely order them again.. The most memorable thing, though, must be the service. Our young server Mohammed was absolutely friendly, helpful, and very accommodating from the start. We could only get a table outside so he made sure it was warm. He was very good with our two young children. He has a great sense of service and sense of humour, and went to extra lengths that we were happy. Great guy. Fantastic place. I would recommend it highly.”

“We had our twins 18th birthday party yesterday in Amrit Lounge. The food was so delicious by chefs (Mr. Sharma & Mr. Pandey) , waitress ( Aasha) was excellent and was spot on. The manager ( Mr. Sooriya ) was so helpful and he is brilliant. He managed this event so smoothly that all our guests (80) were so impressed with the food & service and the atmosphere. Highly recommended for small partys for around 70/80 people. A big "Thank you" to all the staff of Amrit Lounge for making this event a grand success.”

“Excellent kebabs at a very reasonable price. Eat here most days. The chicken Shawarma sandwich is a regular item for me. Love it. The grilled chicken tikka and lamb skewers are the best around and the traditional bread it awesome. The bread it cooked onsite in front of you for absolute freshness. Get Turkish tea to wash it down. All served with side salads and sauces. The Hummus is again the best around with fresh flat bread.... and not on the menu for you can ask for it is the Tzatziki. I highly recommend this place.”
