“Marcella superseded all expectations. Walking into the restaurant, the understated, and dare I say slightly underwhelming interiors, lowered initial expectations. However a first read of the set menu offered a telling insight into the thought and delight of the food that was to come. Each dish delivered a firm punch of brilliant and bold flavour, but also a delicate balance, underpinned by a controlled and measured richness that too many restaurants fail to achieve. Each dish unlocked the imagination of the palate and the food was partnered with a wonderfully flavoured glass of wine. A triumph. Well done to Marcella.”

“Gorgeous food with lovely homey survives. Cafe Koha is the first restaurant I’ve visited in the UK 2 years ago, and it became one of my favorite and special to-go place. It’s a perfect place not only for enjoying seasonal cuisines, but also for casual drinks in a warm atmosphere with the best staffs ever. I highly recommend here when you drop by central London.”

“It’s the 2nd time I am going and the food was even better! Amazing quality, presentation and taste! We tried different starters, the one I was really impressed was the cured mackerel and then the burrata with the blood oranges. From the main courses, I had the hake, sooo good for fish lovers and my friend the pork. The whole service team was extremely friendly and Chef Spyros helped us with his recommendations. “The service here was so warm and helpful, it made for such a beautiful early valentine's! The atmosphere was lovely and we were seated at a tucked away corner table, which was great. I was really impressed by the vegan options on the menu - they were very original and delicious. We also learned there's a vegan tasting menu that can be organised ahead of time. “We have been going regularly to Vinotrca since its reopening last year. The food is delicious and menu updated frequently, lovely wine selection but most of all wonderful atmosphere and exceptional service. Great place for a cosy get together with friends over a bottle of wine and nibbles/meze style foods. We will certainly be returning for more.”

“A really beautiful evening! We sat outside and had a lovely dinner full of the kind of food that you could make yourself but it wouldn’t be anywhere near as good if you did. I really recommend the antipasti dish and the aubergine spaghetti. It’s a wonderful feeling to be surprise by how absolutely delicious the first bite is. I look forward to returning.”

“Diverse Austrian menu, not just Viennese but also hearty Alpine fare. The lentils with ham is especially satisfying but there are any of number of savoury dishes, plus Austrian cakes and pastries to die for. And also a proper Austrian wine list including labels hard to find outside of Österreich.”

“We were there a couple of weeks ago. It was a Saturday night and we were very lucky to find a table without a booking. The team is very welcoming and the service was as fast as it could be on a busy Saturday evening. We had a large sharing platter and a raclette - both delicious - champagne and aperitifs cocktails which were lovely. We will definitely be back (we will make sure to book a table next time!). Considering the high quality of the food, this was very reasonably priced. See you soon!”

“Was a great lunch out. The staff were amazing and helpful seeing as we were the first through the door. A small but comfy restaurant doesn't feel crowded with a lovely Alpine feel. The food was lovely. The Pate was quite rich so but still very nice. The prawn cocktail was well made and they weren't stingey with the prawns. Our main of the vegetable fondue was nice and the vegetables were nicely prepared. Will be returning to try out the different options on the menu.”

“I opted for the crayfish party menu with bottomless Prosecco (£45pp). The crayfish came with a side salad which was lovely and fresh, a cheese pie and the dessert was a creamy vanilla ice cream with strawberries. Food was delicious and staff very attentive, we never had to request a refill in the bottomless drinks and I was surprised with a lovely slice of cake for my birthday as a surprise! We finished the meal off with shots of aquavit, lingonberry cocktails and a traditional Nordic song. They do nice coffee too. I’d definitely recommend.”
