● Open“Absolutely fantastic food and even better hospitality. As soon as we entered we felt welcome. We had a jug of passion fruit juice which was nice, if a bit sweet. For starters we had the nundu and the mogo. The mogo had a nice flavour and was a good consistency. The nundu was absolutely fantastic and I really recommend it. Traditionally it's just beef fat, however, as the server explained, you can't serve grilled fat on its own in the UK, so it had beef with it. It was so full of flavour and seasoned perfectly. For mains we had sukama wiki with ugali and charsi lamb curry with naan. The sukama had a lovely flavour and went well with the ugali. I tried the curry with the ugali and it didn't go as well. The curry was spicy but really rich. We had some karak chai to finish the meal and packed up everything we didn't eat. Our server was great - very friendly and knowledgeable - and I got the feel from the restaurant that they love serving people and making people happy with their food.”

The interior design is nice, warmly lit and well decorated. I ordered the Chicken Burrito. It was huge and tasty. To go with that I had the Elderflower Lemonade which was nice and sweet which went well with the burrito. It was a delicious meal. For dessert I had the Cinnamon Waffle which came decorated with diced strawberries, sprinkled with icing sugar. Accompanied by a little bowl of chocolate sauce. Pure sweetness. To go with that I ordered an English breakfast tea. To my surprise it came with a little chocolate in a nice little shiny silver box, when I opened it the chocolate had the '90 on the Green' engraved on it which I think looks really cool. I had a great time here. I had a wonderful meal. Whether it be for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, this is the place for it. I highly recommend. I will return. ^_^”

● Open“I went with a friend last night to Champagne Route and we had the most lovely time. The staff was friendly and attentive, the restaurant has great ambiance, cosy but sophisticated. We shared the Bruschetta with parma ham and tomato garlic sauce to start, which was delicious, I particularly loved the sauce that had a mousse like texture and the careful presentation of our meal. For my main I had the Confit Chicken, mushroom ballotine, pan fried kale, red wine sauce garnished with pomegranate - which was cooked to perfect tenderness. My friend has the Gruyere and asparagus tartlet with mixeld leaf salad, which I didn't have a chance to try but was told was delicious! We matched our food to the house wine, both perfectly lovely. All in all we enjoyed the atmosphere and food and look forward to coming for food again!”

Only negative was very noisy as restaurant is near the bar area but understandable as was Friday night and the establishment was very busy. Has not put us off wanting to go back again.”
