“I have been here twice once to get a lamp re-wired which was quoted for at a reasonable price and ready within days, the second to choose some bulbs (the kind with the filament visible), John's wife kindly helped me by testing each bulb I was interested in so I could see what they look like on which took 10/15 mins all with a smile on her face. A few weeks later I've been in to purchase the bulbs and John served me. I've never had anything other than friendly, smiley and helpful service and will definitely go back.”

I've swapped to refill hand wash, washing liquid, shampoo, pasta, snacks, chocolate, coco powder, flour, spaghetti, toilet cleaner, window cleaner, deodorant, dishwasher tabs, rinse aid.... It goes on. I've discovered recyclable e-toothbrush heads, toilet bombs, enviro friendly & refillable chewing gum, and environmentally friendly sanitary products! It's good to know I'm buying eco products, supporting an independent local business and making a difference to the environment!”

“Our little chappy has just completed a weeks stay at Hotel Dachshund and I genuinely think he had a better holiday than we did! Sam is a true lover of sausage dogs and offered the 5* home from home treatment you'd want (and more!), after visiting kennels I just knew it wouldn't be right for our sausage - therefore so pleased we discovered Hotel Dachshund. Sam was incredible at keeping us informed whilst we were away and photo galore which personally we loved! It was incredible to see him play with others and make new friends - leaving you stress free to enjoy your holiday! An incredible boarding service that we'll definitley return for! “We found Michael after doing a google search, and we are so grateful that he came up first. He is punctual, friendly, professional and goes above and beyond. We initially wanted to have out RING system fitted. After completion, we noticed that our gutters needed doing, and Michael was willing to help and made himself available. He always goes out of his way to ensure a job is done to the highest standard as well as he is very informative. We have a long list of things which need to be done around our house, and the only person we will trust to do it is Michael.”

“Our AEG condenser tumble dryer is 7.5 years old so out of warranty, and suddenly stopped rotating but was still blowing hot air. It doesn't get a lot of use, but I'd expect it to have a longer lifespan. Ali came to take a look 3 days after I got in touch, verified what he'd deduced to be the problem based on my explanation and a video I'd sent to him, and a couple of days later he came back to fit the 3 required spare parts. We're hoping this repair keeps the dryer running for a few more years. Professional service, tidy work - thanks.”

“Amir and his partner did a great job repairing our boiler in Jan. It was an unusual and tricky job due to the back of our house being knocked out for an extension. The guys methodically checked the boiler and explained what they were doing and why every step of the way. They discovered multiple issues and were able to repair on site; all included in the hourly rate. A real class act I'd happily recommend them to anyone.”

“Always fancied a hot tub but was not sure about cost and keeping clean and what chemicals we required ect. After talking to Janice about the does and donts we went ahead and purchased one. From the sale to the installation it all went very smooth and the installation team explained about the chemicals and the settings for the hot tub. Glad we purchased it and its great to chill in of a evening watching the stars with a glass of wine. The running cost is about £25 a month peanuts for the enjoyment, and the grand kids love it.”

“One of the best local stores I've been to. The most friendliest people; provide great customer service, and they have a range of different items. Some items can be quite expensive and some items cheaper- depending on what it is you're buying, but I personally don't let that be an issue when I have a great relationship with them (it can make such a big difference when you have a good relationship with someone). Definitely recommend this shop”

“First time I've been here as relatively new, but did a big shop got loads of their own brand fruit meat salad and general food and milk butter cheese etc. Well pleased had a big trolley and bill came to £85. Staff were very helpful but you don't really need to ask anything as it's all laid out and well labelled will definitely go again”

“I arrived at Iceland for my weekly shopping and was greeted by a kind member of staff who I hadn't seen before. I think he might've been new. His beard didn't connect and he said he failed his driving test a few times. Poor lad but very good services because he helped me find the PG Tips when I didn't have my glasses.”
