“Just terrific. Simply amazing. I hate clothes shopping looking in a mirror and thinking oh …. I look so tubby. I arrived at After Dark after tube/ underground journey from Putney thinking “okay - not what I was expecting” and Douglas was incredible. I begin to say my size is and he says “Don't worry I can judge your size”. Try on this dress. Well the dress was fantastic! I looked so slim! I had a huge choice but the first one was the best. Thank you Douglas and I cannot recommend this shop more highly if you need a long glamorous dress. And to top it all very reasonably priced with a service that is rarely found these days - if ever.”

Super suitable for my shape and I can't believe how flattering some of their clothes are - Donna suggested a couple of things to try on and KAPOW ! I wish I could impress upon you how 'worth it ' a visit would be. Just try it once and you will have some lovely well priced things to cheer up your wardrobe. I went last Saturday and I'm thrilled.”

“I collected my lengha outfit yesterday (Saturday 10th October 2020), after choosing this in March, before the lockdown. I have to say that when I visited in March the service was excellent and when returning to collect the altered lengha, again the service was excellent. I have to say I received points from the two lengha's I purchased in March. This time I bought bangles worth £90, but with the points I only paid £15.00 Thank you Variety Silk House for a great service from your staff, although I'm not purchasing at the moment due to weddings being cancelled, should I need anything in the future, I will be returning as VSH has excellent and the latest designs which are amazing. Well done to all the staff, for being helpful, polite and also respected customers space due to Covid.”

Let us have multiple fittings as it suited (pardon the pun) us. I am a big lad but had everything in my size. We lost a shirt and were charged a reasonable fee for replacement (much less than i expected) Well worth a visit.”

“Really good Chinese takeaway food. Have been looking for decent Chinese / Thai food that wasn't over salted or swimming in oil, and finally found it. Obviously, delivered food is never as good as fresh food served in a restaurant, but still the best in the area. Vegetarian options are delicious.”

“My review is based on the service I received at the now closed Temple Fortune branch. The staff were very helpful as I didn't have a scooby do what I was looking for. The range was extensive but eventually with help, I managed to find the perfect clothes. They gift wrapped it too. As a result, I used to go on to the Temple Fortune branch regularly and I am sure that everyone involved with West Hampstead branch are just as helpful.”
