“First impressions when walking into this place is that they’ve clearly tried to set themselves apart here in terms of decor. Environment is modern yet also warm with a few individual touches that gives the place personality. We came on a weekday so the bar on the ground floor was pretty empty but can imagine is a good place to have a couple of drinks before headed upstairs to the restaurant. There is a good range of meats and seafood on the menu, and with a good selection on the set menu choices also. Although did enjoy the food nothing really “outstanding”. “This was my favourite place to stay on our holiday to the UK. So much so that I came back for the last two nights, in order to prepare for the long flight home. Friendly, happy staff who run a clean and homely place to stay. Walking distance to anything one could possibly need, with Beckenham being one of the more relaxed towns that I visited. I couldn't have asked for more, I hope that one day I'll return.”

“Beckenham Upholstery have recently made and fitted voile blinds in my kitchen, a roman blind in my dining room and full length curtains and pelmet in a bedroom. From the first time I met Anthony I felt that nothing was too much trouble. He really could not be more helpful and the finished products are perfect. His fitter is very skilled and all in all, for me, they are the perfect company. I wish that I had discovered them earlier but now that I have, this is the place for me. I will shortly be ordering more blinds and curtains for another bedroom.”

“I know Renata for many years and have never met such a professional, detailed and dedicated pmu artist. For me she is more than this as she also does other beauty treatments like facials, waxing relaxing massages and many others so much needed for us women’s. She is an expert but more than this she is gentle and really listens what your expectations are. It is an amazing experience to meet Renata and be treated by her. She really does the best waxing in the world!!! Her brow and lash lamination is perfect-once you do it there I promise that you never ever use anyone else (she will laminate even the smallest lash of yours and I mean it!). Her facials makes your skin rejuvenated, soft, clear, radiant. Her massages makes you feel relaxed!! Her permanent make up turns you into new beautiful you and enhance your natural beauty so please do not look any further! She really is the best in what she is doing!!!”

“We went to the bar to partake in the quiz. The quiz was really fun and there was a really nice buzzy atmosphere. We ordered some halloumi fries and a toasted cheese and ham sandwich and the sandwich was honestly the best I'd ever had! Staff are really friendly and the new plants and candles make it feel extra cozy! Perfect for an autumnal evening with friends. Highly recommended!”

“Went here for my birthday, the atmosphere was quite nice. The drinks were extremely reasonable and at the time we arrived (16:30) it was two for one on cocktails. The staff were extremely friendly, we were served by Gemma (apologies if this is spelt incorrectly). She took the time to accommodate us and even moved our tables as the party next to is were definitely getting their party on! Whilst the food did take a while to come out, it all cam out at the same time and was very good for the price. Lots of vegan/vegetarian options too Gemma was an absolute sweetheart, she brought out the cake at the end of our meal and even offered to take pictures of the event. We were to sure to leave some cake with the staff because they deserved it!”
