“I have been to a lot of barbers in London but none even comes close to Barber Luxe. Their service is impeccable and they always put their customers first which is what I love. The shop is always clean and all of the staff are really friendly. I highly recommend everyone to get their haircut from them especially the barber Abdullah. His trims are something else. When I got my haircut done I felt like a completely different person and was super confident because of how cool the trim looked. After I got my haircut I went home using the bus and everyone was staring at the trim I just got cos it was too LOUD. I got so many compliments that week and never felt better. Anyways I never usually write reviews cos they're quite long to do but barber luxe definitely deserves this review because they are honestly the best barber shop.”

“I usually have my cut by Patricia here. Each time she is done with me I leave the parlour feeing like a prince. That is how great of a satisfying feeling I am left with as she is superb in her role. I am always treated with an assertive manner when it comes to my hair styling so there is no room for partial fondness with what you’re left with at the end of the cut as it is always exquisite. We have great conversations during the experience and all the way she is snipping away and raising the surroundings with a sharp tight finish. I would certainly recommend a cut with this expert hair stylist and barber. I would go as far as to say quite possibly she has the best I’ve ever tried as her work is like art. Excuse the over emphasis but great work requires great words, you’re all welcome in advance”

“The best salon EVER!! Everyone is so lovely, polite and caring! Tommy is an absolute genius - brilliant at what he does, with a flair for colour and style. I first met him when he rescued my hair from a disastrous colour done by a major national salon (who were supposed to be the best in their field!!). Tommy took one look at the horror that was my hair and knew immediately what to do. He talked things through with me, telling me what the other salon had done and how he would save my hair and give me back my healthy, glossy locks! The trust he inspired in me from that very first meet was so reassuring, I was completely at ease and let him work his magic. The result was amazing - not only had he restored the colour to better than what it should be, but he went above and beyond with various conditioning treatments, masks and a head massage to boot! Now whenever I go for my cut / colour I just plonk myself down, enjoy the coffee (and the massage chair - which is an absolute must!) and let him do his thing! Tommy is, without a doubt, absolutely brilliant!”

“JJ Barbers is a beautifully stylish and suave place. Rebar, the owner, is passionate about his profession and all things 'grooming'. He has styled my hair, on and off, for about 8 years (since his previous place). He not only cuts head hair & facial hair, he also advises and instructs - taking pride in his work and care over his clients. Given time, he gets to know you and remembers important things you've talked about previously. He has developed his skills and has now established this amazing barbers on Gloucester Road, not far from East Croydon and works alongside his brother. There is sometimes a wait, but it's worth it. And, Rebar has thoughtfully installed a PS4 for those who are a little more playful! Very highly recommended.”

“This shop not only has vintage boots made in England the experience shopping there was amazing. You tell them what you are looking for and they come back with amazing boots. Like they got into the deepest recess of your mind and found not what you said but what you didn’t know existed. 3 of us walked in with only 1 wanting a pair and 3 of us left with a pair and 1 with 2 pairs. So my son is so exited and happy there and not even realising that he actually is doing his hair. The lady there is very kind with the children and professional.
