Just how friendly and genuine she was was great. I know all barbers give the boring talk where they talk the same rubbish all day. But here we had an actual human conversation which was nice. “I cannot recommend Lucia and The Uptown Dog enough. We've been taking our Cavapoo, Dexter, here ever since he was a puppy and we couldn't imagine going anywhere else. Dexter is always so excited to see Lucia and he comes back looking and smelling incredible every time. Not only is Lucia a brilliant groomer, she clearly loves all of her dogs (and they love her!), and takes her time to get to know them, their needs and make them feel comfortable in the salon.”

“Our little chappy has just completed a weeks stay at Hotel Dachshund and I genuinely think he had a better holiday than we did! Sam is a true lover of sausage dogs and offered the 5* home from home treatment you'd want (and more!), after visiting kennels I just knew it wouldn't be right for our sausage - therefore so pleased we discovered Hotel Dachshund. Sam was incredible at keeping us informed whilst we were away and photo galore which personally we loved! It was incredible to see him play with others and make new friends - leaving you stress free to enjoy your holiday! An incredible boarding service that we'll definitley return for! We visited this shop and a wonderful assistant took care of us and helped us with our shopping, also introduced us to some new things, she came out of her way to serve us, took time and her lovely energy caused, that my friend now wants to go there every time we visit this area. So we both would like to say thank you to this lovely lady with dark long hair. Excellent work and what a lovely customer service. Well done. We will be coming soon again.”

“I am very happy to be able to order kosher food! My local Sainsbury’s has a very very small selection of kosher supplies (no meat) and Ocado has a few meat options, but not too much. Sabeny brings a whole range of kosher products directly to the door with minimum fuss! The only issues I’ve had are not with Sabeny themselves but DPD, the more fragile food items like yogurts sometimes arrive damaged, but Sabeny are quick to refund them when this happens, even though I don’t even want them to refund them because it wasn’t their fault, I just hope that DPD receive enough complaints that this stops happening. Baruch HaShem for Sabeny! I highly recommend them!”

The food was very delicious and all the guests gave me such good feedback. Martina was very friendly and patient with me answering my million questions and requests. I ordered the Tuna salad and don't like olives or avocado but actually the whole meal complimented each other and was delicious. Would recommend to everyone and as it's not on the main thoroughfare it's a hidden gem (and probably why it's so busy with the locals)”
