“First time trying and really enjoyed it. The new space looks really good, really light and has a nice feel about it. Was 3 of us and came to about £55 but we definitely ordered more than needed with coffees. 2 of us shared the mix gyros platter, one had eggs and avocado and share a couple of sides - the sausage in particular was Delish. Really tasty and generous portion - the gyros meat was nice and crispy and moist - as good as we’ve had in Greece. 2 minor things which were a bit negative. Firstly the eggs were a bit cold - suspect due to sitting around while they got the platter and sides sorted. We ordered tzatziki and pitta as sides, we probably should have worked out (and does say on menu), but would have thought the waiter would have mentioned the gyros platter did come with that those as we would have tried perhaps hummus or another side. Overall, great spot, friendly staff, tasty food and felt value for money. Would recommend and return.”

“Simply Bedrooms came to install bedroom furniture for us after a year long rangling with Bensons for Beds which ended up in us getting a refund an buying the same thing from Simply Bedrooms. I wish we had found them first! We paid for the installation service, the guys that arrived were polite, clean and tidy, and professional. They worked quickly and efficiently. I will def recommend the company to my friends and will order from them again when the need arises.”

“I travelled to Ladakh with Indus Experiences, and the trip included a multi-day hike in the Hemis National Park. We had an excellent local trekking guide, and the porters were fantastic. They brought everything we could possible need, and cooked some wonderful meals. The route we chose was tough, but the scenery was exceptionally beautiful and we had a real sense of achievement at the end. The accommodation was good, the transfers arrived on time, and the drivers were friendly and competent. The tour was competitively priced.”

“What a lovely surprise! I was in that area and googled for a place to have Lebanese food and I come across Lebo! Their menu is creative, they present Lebanese food in a modernised way which is really cool! They have an extensive healthy menu with dish names like "Eat like Schwarzenegger" which I found very creative. Was impressed with the Falafel, Moutabal and Shawerma dishes. With good marketing this place can be a popular Franchise. Tip to the restaurant would be to add the ingredients and calories to the healthy dishes, and improve the Humus recipe to be par with their Moutabal. Their seating and facilities are good and maintained, music wise they had adult Rap music so keep that in mind in case you don't like that or taking kids with you, if you ask them I am sure they will play something more family friendly.”

“I've never tried Iraqi food before but Ya Hela has introduced me to how wonderful it is. I say wonderful because it was a true meat feast! Their most popular item, the lamb kofte kebab had a lovely outer crust yet absolutely broke apart when trying to pick it up. I finally found something more sensitive than vegans. This alone was great however they have speciality lamb dishes with 3x more meat. Now we talking. Lamb shank - Pure, served with rice, no sauces or spices as such. Just tender, beautiful meat falling off the bone and you'd never complain for wanting more even though it's hella simple. Lamb neck - now this I could relate to a desi dish because it was another massive chunk of lamb but sat on top of a bed of broken up naan which has soaked up spices. Wow, this was almost like when I have Nihari, naan soaked up except this meat is on another level! Arabic Shwarma was pretty good though just needed more sauce inside but they have sauces provided anyway so that was fine. The chicken wings were a little dry for my liking. Service and atmosphere were fantastic, it was pretty busy and loved seeing massive pieces of lamb being eaten up. Very much liked this spot guys, try those lamb dishes and kebabs and you will not be disappointed! Taste: 9, Quality: 9, Value: 9”

“Had the pleasure of stumbling upon this place with a buddy! Now I’ve lived in California for a few years and I sorely miss good Mexican food - which is something London sadly doesn’t have many good options to offer. This place is such a treat! When you walk in, you know you’re going to have something good happen. It has a hipster, hole-in-the-wall restaurant feel to it, and they being it with good food! It hope they just get the flavours better and better with time. Will defo be visiting more often. My recommendation - chicken/beef tacos with the loaded fries - ask them to add a touch more sauce. Churros with hazelnut chocolate - you can’t go wrong.”

“Went here for a belated Valentine’s Day lunch. It was amazing. The location is really nice, and easy to find. The vibe of the restaurant is perfect, intimate, cool decor, perfect playlist. The food was amazing, we had; Crab salad, veal pasta, crispy lamb, rostis, potatoes, cabbage, prawn toast. It was all delicious. It’s hard to pick a winner, my fave was the prawn toast, my partner loved her lamb and veal pasta. The rum and coke old fashioned was tasty. The service was excellent, always someone on hand to help you out, take an order, check if you’re alright. I’ll definitely be coming back again. My expectations were very high due to reviews about it and it exceeded them all.”

“Got a catering service for a party of 25 people from Al Baladi. The food was excellent, got a mix of pastries, falafel, salads, hummus, mujaddara, mutabal, kibeh and several other items. Portions were very generous, and delivery was on time. Would definitely recommend and order again.”

“Such a great team at Chop Chop, fab hairdressers (dealing with with my long thick hair and the fab cut and blow dry) but also great humans...my phone was stolen just minutes before I had arrived and the team were really helpful (giving me their phones, access to their salon WiFi etc). Kindness goes a long way! Love the sustainable ethos in the salon too. Look forward to my next visit :)”

From the greeting as you enter the door to the thank you and good bye as you leave you cannot fault this team. The staff are all very attentive, professional and pleasant. “We had dinner here yesterday! Absolutely loved it! Generous servings, home cooked meals and very friendly staff. We had beef brisket pho and satay chicken for main which are both very tasty, but the highlight of the night for me was the mixed starters of prawn toast, satay skewers, spring rolls and ribs - postios were very generous, everything tasty and was not oily at all unlike other shops. Will definitely come back to try the clay pot dishes and maybe the buffet too!”
