Sutherland Day Nursery Ltd
“Great nursery, As a parent my son thrived at Sutherland and enjoyed his time there. They supplied great preparation for school. All the activities set up are inviting and exciting for children. Staff are friendly and professional and have a great rapport with parents. Management are caring and have great communication. My favourite was the Famly app which allowed me to log on and see what my son had been upto throughout the day as well as being able to track his progress. Would highly recommend this nursery”

Tadpoles Nursery School Kensington
“Excellent. I’m not usually given to posting reviews, nor have I been prompted, but I think good work should get recognised. My two year old daughter has seen a dramatic improvement in her communication and social skills since joining. Almost one on one attention, regular parent updates and a genuine focus on her development. She is counting, singing and very happy.”
The Butterfly Preschool Clapham
“Both our children have gone through Butterfly. A really fantastic experience for them both. There is a wonderful variety of activities and both children have been wonderfully prepared for school both from a core reading/writing skills but more importantly how confident and independent they both became under the care of Butterfly. The staff are awesome and very adaptive to individual needs.”
Buttercups Day Nursery
“Really happy with the nursery and you can tell all the children thrive there. The highlight are the teachers, who are not only inspiring and creative, but also help the children grow up kind, disciplined and caring little people. The Forest School is a hidden gem with lots of outdoor space, which is so hard to find in London.”
Montessori Garden Nursery School
“Montessori Garden Nursery creates such a collegial, almost family-like dynamic between teachers, children and parents. This sense of shared responsibility makes me feel as a parent that my child is receiving the best possible care - the teachers are as invested in my child's development as we as parents might be. Moreover, child development includes socialisation with others and the notion of being a 'good citizen of the classroom'; self care and care for others is emphasised. As parents then, the sense of shared responsibility also means that we come to view the nursery less as a service provider, and more as a partner. The blurred lines can be productive, as above, but if you are searching for a 'business-customer' relationship (understandable given the costs involved), this was not our experience. Rather, we felt part of the school and our child loved to go every morning without fail!”
Junior VIPs Nursery
“A very good nursery. My 1 year old had been very attached to me since birth which made it difficult to leave her with family or be away from her. Going back to work meant I had to find a nursery. I rang Sachin and he was very helpful. I went to visit the nursery and knew this was the place. All staff are very genuine and caring. It is now her second week there and is settling in well. At first she was crying and not settling but with the effort the staff put in she is finally enjoying it. It is a huge comfort knowing she is in good hands and I can go to work free from worry. I highly recommend this nursery.”
Apple Day Nursery
“Our daughter attended from 1 year old till 18 months. The love and care she received was second to none. She has made so much progress when she attended Apple Day Nursery. The food is amazing and my daughter loved it. I would recommend this place to anyone!”
Lancaster Road Playgroup
“"I didn't miss you mummy, because I had so much fun". This is what he tells me all the time.”
Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Highbury
“Our son has just 'graduated' from pre-school here after being in their care since he was 1 and I cannot recommend high enough the experience he has had there. The staff are incredible - caring, creative, fun and friendly to name a few words to describe them. My appreciation for them has risen even further in the way they have dealt with the difficult circumstances of the last few months - implementing sensible safety measures, but in a way that makes the kids still feel comfortable. The graduation I mentioned above was an incredible way for our son to end his time at Monkey Puzzle - the staff put in so much work to make it a special event for every single kid there and I think it is safe to say that there wasn't a dry eye in the house for all the parents (although the kids all contented themselves with big proud smiles!). It was really indicative of how much care and effort the staff put in and an excellent example of how they go above and beyond what would be expected. The nursery prepares pre-schoolers very well for 'big school' with a strong emphasis on phonics and education through fun activities which occurs throughout the age-groups. They also provide the kids with an excellent diet and I still need to get Plange’s meatball recipe because my son always reminds me that mine aren’t as good! The nursery provides excellent communication as to what the children are doing at end of day (and a weekly call) – and also through the ‘Famly’ app where they post twice-daily what the kids have been doing with pictures which are always lovely to see! Our daughter is still at the nursery (in the toddlers room) and she is also benefitting from the same excellent experience that my son had there and I’m confident she will enjoy the rest of her time there and continue to blossom.”
Mulberry Bush Pre-School
“Wonderful breakfast and after school club Attentive staff and great management.”
LEYF - London Fields Nursery & Pre-School
“Great, well organised and community-focused nursery. All the staff is really professional and dedicated to the development and wellbeing of the children. Our child really thrived here and has always a great time”
Explorikids Preschool
“Explorikids is such a lovely preschool with a good variety of toys and play/educational tools to keep little ones engaged and learning whilst playing and exploring indoors and in their outside space. Maira is not only very knowledgeable about all things educational, but she has a very nurturing and gentle approach with the children, that made me trust my child to her care from the moment I meet her. I just wish she was also the Head at my eldest's primary school! On a final note, I was also particularly pleased to discover her Spanish is of native level. How advantageous for my little one to be exposed to a second language from such a young age!”
William Elliott Nursery School
“This is a great nursery and I can highly recommend it. The indoor space is so large, the food is cooked fresh daily and I find the staff very professional. My son has absolutely loved the nursery and I feel confident leaving him in their care (Mary Land).”
