“We had an issue with our electric range oven. It tripped the electrics a couple of times. Tom popped over (the same day as we called). He ran a full diagnostic on the cooker but could not find any fault with it. We have had mouse issues over the years. He surmised that they might be the cause, as they can get into the space temporarily, touch a cable and trip the electrics. As there was nothing wrong with the cooker, he offered to pop back if the problem continued/occurred again. Very nice chap and very professional. Now onto the pest people (again!).”

“The school is very open to new ideas and suggestions. I have found that the staff are welcoming, polite and hard working. my daughter enjoys going there. The secondary section of the school is new and i can see that the headmaster and the rest of the staff are trying to improve all areas of the school. I think the school needs more help and input from parents.”

“Mr Singhs review: If I would give 10 STARS I would ! Attended a Personal 1:1 open day with the Headteacher Mr Daniel Cowling on Fri 11th June 2021. He is doing a superlative job. Well beyond my expectations. A personal credit to him and his staff. Mr Cowling is highly respected by both staff AND students. - Facilities and Cleanliness of the school is unbelievable. - Brand new resources. - Students have their heads down in all of the classrooms i visited. - Equipment; formidable! All Apple computers and screens. - Well funded and beyond my comprehension. - Wonderful , open, spacious outdoor space. All sports. - Drama rooms excellent. - Main hall ; Mint. - Its a new school less than 7 years old and the buildings are pristine. - Staff extremely polite and attentive. My son attends a grammar school in Slough and this state school is far better !!! I didnt think I would be stating that. Ive even surprised myself. Keep up the excellent work , and Well done Mr Cowling & everyone at Oak Wood. "If you aint got no discipline, you aint no disciple."”

The combination of outstanding teachers and this stunning new facility gives me the assurance that my children are at the right school.”

Ark Oval Primary Academy
“My son is in Reception in this school and I am very pleased with the way the school is running. Staff is really good and always ready to help and one thing that I felt outstanding is the way they have managed during this pandemic - They have gone to all lengths to get this done - by arranging staggered arrivals/departures based on year groups, clear communication to students and parents, managing both online and in session classes for keyworkers' students, arranged oxfordowl account so that children need not bring school books from library, a change in the school uniform strategy (using their standard uniforms, PE uniforms and own clothes on alternate days) and the list just goes on. Staff provided honest reviews and feedback about kids and they always set the standards high.A big thank you to the entire team!”
City of London School
“Great school. My son started there in OG (Year 6) last September and loves it. Kids are bright, parents are friendly and the teaching seems excellent. Doesn't matter what you are into (music, sport etc.) they seem to cater for it. Although it's a private school, it's a lot less snobby than some state schools - especially some of the Grammar schools.”
University of East London
“UEL was the most incredible experience for me. It not only helped me grow academically, but also socially and politically. All the best things I have or have one, originate from my time at UEL. Apart from my beer belly.”
Westminster Kingsway College - Victoria Centre
“I would like to express that it is the best Korean food I have eaten abroad. Having lived in the UK for over 40 years, I tasted the 2 course with an acquaintance who remembered the unforgettable taste of Korea. Bread and ox tail soup for appetizers, samgyetang and boiled rice for the main course, stir-fried aubergine and pickled cucumber as a side dish. I had a comfortable lunch time thanks to the chefs who showed great taste of the ox tail soup and samgyetang, which are difficult even for Korean mothers to cook, and the people who served them while tasting them comfortably. It is a deep Korean taste that I want to serve to Korean seniors aged 70 to 90 who have spent a long time in the UK because the taste of food that is perfect for Korean tastes is so excellent.”
