“As ever, bloody brilliant. Really good food quickly served. Staff are friendly, engaged and polite. It's always clean and there's always a friendly bunch of people there. Lots of bikes out front and the Ace seems to have the ability to knock away the armour of the typical Londoner to the point of friendliness - especially if the conversation is about a nice bike in the car park.”

“A lovely old fashioned b&b right on Hyde park. The room was as described and clean. The breakfast is adequate but the room itself is drafty. The staff is very warm and friendly. The stairs and corridors creak but it's vintage!”

“The Bertha Doc House is one of my favourite things about London. I always come out of the cinema feeling inspired and invigorated by their expertly curated documentaries - and always learn something new. During the COVID-19 pandemic the team have put an amazing amount of effort into providing online content, much of it free and many with Q&As from Directors, Producers and others. In a time where it is easy to feel devoid of culture and new things like the present the team behind the Doc House have really given me and so many others something so important. I cannot wait to return in person when it is safe to do so.”

“Love this cinema. Always friendly staff and a great atmosphere. Go downstairs if you want comfortable, swivel chairs with tables for your food/ drinks. Bar downstairs in the viewing area which is a big bonus. Cheese platters are lovely. Would like to see a meat/pate and cracker platter too.”

“This is an excellent local cinema showing a variety of relatively recent movies and occasional “live” performances by RoH etc. Staff are friendly and helpful, seats are reasonably comfortable, prices are competitive. There is a small screen which is quite intimate and a large screen which doubles as the main theatre for the venue. There’s a bar serving both alcohol and got drinks and limited snacks.”

“Wonderful small cinema with comfy seats a great little selection of well priced food and drink to take in with you. Feels like a real community of people with an appreciation for film and using the screenings as a way to socialise and chat about the film afterwards. An absolute asset to Croydon.”

“Really happy to have a cinema within walking distance, and the occasional special showing (cult movies etc) is a good excuse to get people from outside Catford to visit :). The recent art market was amazing. Great also to come here with a laptop in the evening, get a milkshake, and try and be productive.”

“Easily the best dance studios in London and probably the World. Have been sending dancers to classes here for over 20 years. Great friendly and edgy atmosphere. All studios with mirrirs, barre, sound systems and pianos. Varying sizes across 4 floors. Literally every type of dance class from beginners ballet and jazz to West end companies and reggaeton. Studios can be hired for very reasonable prices but they are busy. Classes range in price and you can join as a member. Highly recommended.”

Staff at the bar busy chatting amongst these more than engagingly with the clients we were there just for a drink at 4pm so the place wasn't even busy they all seemed to have switched off already from attending the clients,perhaps is better when the place is busy amd the staff has to be more alert mWe will guve it another go”
