In the room were several common items that are often used to measure blood pressure etc there was also what looked like a magnifying glass presumably to assist the doctor to get a better look if required. However, in my case that was not necessary. I found the video consultation as good as in person. The screen was very clear and the treating doctor was pleasant, articulate and clearly very competent and professional. I felt very at ease and it was much less rushed than seeing my NHS GP.
