The Lyceum Preparatory School
● Closed“The Lyceum is a wonderful, happy school, which has undergone a transformation under Headteacher Mrs Wyatt. The building is beautiful, airy and light, with an outdoor playground - something of a rarity in central London. The teaching is energetic and tailored to the child, with academic standards now high. The canteen chef is also incredible, literally incredible!”

De Jager Guitar School

Walters Family School of Taekwondo CIC
● Closed“My 3 children and I are attending regularly the club (Almost everyday with all the sessions on offer!!) We only joined a few years ago but we truly feel part of the family. The whole team is wonderful, enthusiastic, friendly. Daniel as the main coach, Ocean as the kicksisters’ instructor (lady only class) and Shakira running the machine are amazing people. The sessions are fun, dynamic, and we are gaining a great standard of the sport. It is truly an honour to have met these people who are representing the true value of Taekwondo”

West Hampstead School Of Dance
● Open“I’ve learned in this studio for a year, half of grade four and half of grade five and I have enjoyed every lesson very much. The teachers have taught me a lot and were always there to support me and help me grow. I have accomplished a lot this year and I am very glad I chose to go to this studio. Even though I’ve been in the studio for a short time I have connected with the teachers and students and had a great environment to learn. Really recommend for everyone, beginner or a long term dancer, the studio is very welcoming and helpful!”

Natalia Kremen Ballet School
● Open“The best ballet school for children and young adults in London! It is run very professionally, all teachers are very knowledgeable and serious about the students’ progress, the level is incredibly high and Natalia Kremen’s personal guidance and support is invaluable . The success rate in gaining places in the top professional schools speaks for itself, but it is also a fantastic place and training for those children who “just” want to dance for fun! Highly recommend.”

Spotlight Dance & Theatre School
● OpenBassil Road, Hemel Hempstead HP2 4BB, United Kingdom“I can't speak highly enough about Rachel and her team at Spotlight Dance & Theatre School. My girls have been involved with Spotlight since they were young, attending the Friday classes (with some great presentations at the end of the term to see what the kids have learnt and how they are progressing). My girls are now older and attend the Saturday morning classes and they love them. They thrive on the opportunity to perform and look forward to the Musical performances and can't wait for this year's show (having missed out on live performances during the Pandemic). Their confidence has soared from the encouragement from Rachel and her team and to see them up on stage makes us all proud! Well done Spotlight!”

Pound Park Nursery School and Pound Park Nursery at Cardwell
● Closed“My daughter has attended pound park for a year and I could not be happier. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming and my daughter loves coming to nursery every day. They have been so supportive of my daughters needs and have given her so much help as well as supporting us as a family. They are brilliant at keeping us informed with whats happening in and around nursery and have gone above and beyond to support us with our transition to reception after the summer. We could not have asked for a better nursery. The dedication, enthusiasm and care from the staff has been beyond amazing and the free flow of the nursery has benefited my daughters development greatly. We will be so sad to be moving onto our new school in September and wish we could take all the staff with us.”

All The Arts Theatre School Ltd
● Open“Fabulous theatre school with a fabulous team Lucy, Craig, Hannah, Sophie just to name a few really go above and beyond to ensure every child has fun and learns. Always opportunities to show of their skills and also to qualify in their chosen arts along the way. I wrote this review 4 years ago after my daughter having been at ATA for almost 4 years. She’s now been there almost 8 years and it is still the most amazing place. She gains so much confidence and skill from her classes and has thrived. She has gained LAMDA and IDTA qualifications in the plenty and is now a Grade 2. Sadly this is her final year due to us moving but she has loved every minute and we wouldn’t be without them. They not only are her teachers but they become an extension of the children’s families and help them not only with drama and musical arts but also support them when life is tough and they just need someone to listen. Thank you all for being the amazing team you are. We will truly miss you all. Xx”

Sadler's Wells Theatre
● Open“Superb experience. We had the pleasure of seeing the Birmingham Royal Ballet's production of Don Quixote for my nans 80th birthday and we all enjoyed it immensely. From the dancers, set, costume and orchestra, it was all wonderful. The theatre itself was great. Very easy to get to.The only niggle would the be ladies toilets. There was a queue every time and it would be great if they had more toilets to reduce queues. But that's an absolute tiny niggle because the queue moved quickly. All in all, a fabulous experience.”

Guildford Nursery School and Family Centre
● Closed“I can’t recommend this place highly enough for anyone looking for a brilliant nursery for their child. My daughter has just spent two very happy years at York Road Nursery. Every member of staff is kind, friendly and professional, without exception. Like many people, I was nervous about leaving my daughter somewhere new but from day one my fears were alleviated because I could see how much the staff genuinely care for the children and how well looked after they are. I believe it is a real bonus that they are qualified teachers too which has really helped to prepare my daughter for school. There is a big emphasis on spending time outdoors and my daughter absolutely loved her time at forest school. Thank you to everyone at the centre - I know she’ll miss going there every day!”
-
Mill End Community Centre
● Closed“Hired Mill End CC for my Son’s 6th Birthday Party. Was able to hire both the Main Hall & the Large Garden which was ideal for a kids birthday party in Summer. Sylwia was a delight to deal with, met us to show us around, and answered any queries we had promptly. Plenty of tables / chairs and space to adequately cater for any number of guests from about 1-30. Use of kitchen to prepare food also very helpful, and I thought the cost of it all was very fair.”
-
Bedfont Primary School
● Closed“I have just left Bedfont primary and it is the best place you could ever go. I used to go to another school and moved when I was in year 5.Everyone from Bedfont primary was so welcoming, kind and thoughtful and they were so helpful. If i had any problem there was someone who you could talk to any time. When I moved to year 6 I knew it would get harder from the SAT’s but all the teachers would say is you can only do your best and whatever you get we will be proud of you! That made keep on pushing to do my best and the next thing I know is I did really well on my tests and that’s all thanks to my year 6 teacher Mrs Bissel,Mrs Thorn,Mr Mcallan and most thanks goes to my amazing teacher Miss Roberts! I had only been there for a year and a half and it already felt like home and it felt we were all a big family and I loved that .So please go to Bedfont primary because I want it to grow and help more and more children.”
-
Heathbrook Primary School
● Open“Heathbrook is a fantastic place, with a really strong community feel to it. The school focuses really hard on giving the kids opportunities in music, art, sport and learning outside, and has an amazing nature garden where all the pupils spend time doing forest school. However, importantly, it also gets good results in English and Maths and gives the children a really good grounding for their learning. The curriculum is interpreted really creatively and the pupils are challenged and encouraged to achieve their best. If you're considering sending your child here, go and take a look, it is a really lovely school.”

Oak Wood School
● Closed“Mr Singhs review: If I would give 10 STARS I would ! Attended a Personal 1:1 open day with the Headteacher Mr Daniel Cowling on Fri 11th June 2021. He is doing a superlative job. Well beyond my expectations. A personal credit to him and his staff. Mr Cowling is highly respected by both staff AND students. - Facilities and Cleanliness of the school is unbelievable. - Brand new resources. - Students have their heads down in all of the classrooms i visited. - Equipment; formidable! All Apple computers and screens. - Well funded and beyond my comprehension. - Wonderful , open, spacious outdoor space. All sports. - Drama rooms excellent. - Main hall ; Mint. - Its a new school less than 7 years old and the buildings are pristine. - Staff extremely polite and attentive. My son attends a grammar school in Slough and this state school is far better !!! I didnt think I would be stating that. Ive even surprised myself. Keep up the excellent work , and Well done Mr Cowling & everyone at Oak Wood. "If you aint got no discipline, you aint no disciple."”

West London English School
● Closed“It is a very professional academy, I booked the intensive OET course for doctors, and the teachers Harmi and Alex were just great, I received more classes with teacher Harmi and I most say he is an excellent teacher, his explanations were very clear, the material for the classes was very interesting and useful for the exam, he gave me a lot of resources to improve my listening and my reading. The manager of the academy, Faustine, is a great person, very enthusiastic and willing to help. In conclusion, I recommend the academy, and OET course 100%.”
