● Closed344 Saint Albans Road, Watford WD24 6PQ, United Kingdom“The staff were absolutely lovely and I felt really welcomed and looked after. I took a while to decide which septum ring I wanted as she had so much choice! Sarah was so lovely to me, and did the actual piercing very quickly and efficiently so I didn’t feel too much at all! I felt she went the extra mile for me and was so kind as well as very professional. I will happily come here again. Thanks so much! :)”

The music is soul, jazz funk and classic club anthems. Food supplied for the party was delicious, hot and plentiful. Highly recommend anyone to hire this place for any get together or just pop in and enjoy the evening. I will definitely be doing both.”

Cassiobury Park Hub & Daisy’s In The Park
● Closed“I started going to Daisy’s in the park when I got my puppy over a year ago. The staff are very friendly, helpful and so professional, all of them! I really enjoy going there in the morning get my coffee. Their breakfast and cakes are delicious, home-made with a wild variety to choose from. It gets busy over the weekend but they still put a smile on their face and try their best to get rid of the queue. For instance they’ll open the cafeteria downstairs whenever possible. They’re the only cafeteria in the park so weekends get very busy. I usually go around 10am at the weekend to skip the queue. They take cards only since Covid/lockdown which is the new norm in most places anyways. I actually find it reassuring to avoid spreading germs… Covid! They also have hand sanitiser and dog treats. Very generous! My dog loves them :-)”

Sameday Dentist
● Closed“TLDR: Definitely recommend. Very nice and caring, extremely well qualified and efficient. My favorite dental clinic. The people who work at Sameday Dentist are motivated and very caring. They have a very calming, welcoming and happy atmosphere where there was never a moment of anxiety, nervousness or worry for me. Dr. Adina Grecu is very concise with a lot of detail and delivered it in an easy to understand format. They are very thorough and put a lot of attention and care into what they do. They are very comforting and passionate which in turn made me feel very good and relaxed. They also email your info after your visit to you while giving a physical copy before you leave the clinic. Definitely recommend and my favorite place for anything dentist related.”

Cassiobury Farm and Fishery
● OpenRousebarn Lane, Croxley Green, Rickmansworth WD3 3GG, United Kingdom“I will always love this farm! Because it’s only open a handful of times a year and because it’s not in the most obvious of places it makes you feel like you’re in some sort of secret society and I love it. I love the fact you can buy feed for 50p and feed a great number of the animals in the farm yard. I also love the number of exotic animals they have for a farm in watford. They have raccoons, artic foxes and my favourites Capybara which is odd for a small farm in a city. I will continue to go to this farm every year for at least one of there open days and highly recommend it to anyone, old, young, family, couples, with young children and without. Everyone will love it.”

Edge Grove School
● Closed“Our daughter (now in year 8) has been at Edge Grove since year 6 having spent all her previous schooling in the French system. We joined the school at a time when the new headmaster, Me Evans, was still putting in place his vision, but we felt that he knew exactly what he was wanting to do, and we completely bought into that vision. We have not been disappointed. The pastoral care has been first rate, particularly helping our daughter in the transition to a British Independent school. From what we have seen, any pastoral issues are dealt with speedily and sensitively. Great emphasis is put on politeness and creating the right environment for learning, whilst enjoying everything that the school has to offer. The education curriculum is innovative, supportive and stretching, and the school is doing a fantastic job of supporting all year 8 pupils in preparation for CE, truly differentiating based on the schools they are applying to and the exams they will be taking. Extra-curriculum activities are great too - the Director of Music is fantastic and the improvement in the quality of all school music activities has been marked, while the head of girls' games is really raising the bar too. Staff go beyond what one might expect and respond rapidly and helpfully to any questions or concerns. The parent community is friendly and welcoming. The school certainly deserves its recent rating of Excellent in all regards from the Independent Schools Inspection. I highly recommend the school to any prospective parent.”
