Way 4 Save Watford
“Really good deli stocked with Turkish and Easten European foods. Excellent fruit and vegetables.”
Savers
“Savers in Watford is my go to shop for cosmetics and home cleaning products. Great service and excellent prices. Its so popular they battle to keep up the stock levels. But mostly do. A particular shoutout to Chris, the manager, who has really gone the extra mile for mile for me in sourcing my L'Oreal hair dye. And Vaishali the deputy manager, great service from both of you. The staff at the till points are also most friendly. It kinda gives one a homely feeling when shopping there. I am new to the UK and coming from South Africa where all people are super friendly, its really nice to find an equally friendly shop. Great service always. Thank you”
Lidl
“Lovely new store. Shelves full of some known brands alongside some foreign brands. Prices are really cheap and great value for money. Instore bakery is really well stocked and has little veg pizzas which tasted really lovely. Easy to navigate around the store. Pushchair friendly. Clear signs for all the aisles. Not a big range of bread when I visited but the prices are really good. Less than 50p for a large loaf. Will buy one to try next time I’m there. They have loads of tills but only one or two open. I used the self check out which was really easy. Will visiting a few times a week I think to get some fantastic bargains. Not a lot of veg options in the freezer section. Only one type of veg burger that I don’t like. Loads of ice creams and desserts. The entrance is down the side and there is parking available in an underground car park. 55 spaces I think.”
Co-op Supermarket
“Loved the deal (main, snack, coffee). For half of the price if I have bought it separately. And coffee saved my life at that time!”
Halfords
“I just came in to purchase a shelving unit. I wanted to say a particular thanks to Lewis and the team in the branch. I was standing in front of the product and wondering how I would manage to take the item to my car, I didn't want to bother the team as they were busy with their tasks. Lewis approached me and asked if I needed help in a very friendly and cheerful manner. As a branch manager for a retail store myself I wanted to take the time to thank Lewis and make sure he was recognised for his natural initiative. Resting stores need more cheerful people like him, and the team member on the till (I'm sorry I didn't catch his name!)”
Tesco Express
“Excellent staff service very smiley welcome staff good standard and clean very helpfully local community”
Sainsbury's
“On my most recent visit there was plenty of stock available and the prices of the items were very competitive”
B&M Store
“Fantastic budget-friendly store with a multitude of items & aisles, including general provisions, home foods, snacks, sweets, a chilled/refridgeration section, toileteries, homeware, bedding, stationery, garden items, bric-a-brac, toys, seasonal items - and so, so much more! Whatever you need, B&M will most likely have it and you will barely notice the cost - such is the affordability. I particularly like the wide aisles, which allow for relaxed browsing and space to shop without bumping into other customers. Also the staff are very on-the-ball when the queues for the tills get a little long, and are quick to open up more tills to speed up service. Highly recommended!”
Ferhat Food Centre
“Shops offers a lot of good food variety which you can not find at a large big grocery company. Fresh vegetables, fruits and meats are very good selections and good value for money. The staff are really friendly and helpful. They have freshly baked baguettes and some alcohol and beers even some teas and coffees. You don't need to go to a big grocery shop, they all have it here.”
Nisa Express
“Very clean tide nisa local. Found there new vent machine for frozen yoghurt rom Italy. Worth to try it”
Co-op Food - St Albans Road
“Lovely store, parking available nearby and around the side. Good variety of stock with good dates. The aisles are free from clutter unlike other competitors in local stores (whilst unsightly, is a danger when having mobility issues) Staff are approachable and helpful. Had the need today for a home delivery via deliveroo delivery guy was very pleasant and got everything I ordered packed nicely and all with good dates. Thank you.”
J K S Minimart
“Open early and close late and they accept card, good people and a lot of products”
