Ahmed and Rita made our time here so great they were so lovely and so kind made us feel so welcome we feel like we were regulars but honestly it was our first time. “The interior and ambiance of the restaurant was vibrant and cosy. Our waiter was warm, polite and attentive and made us feel at home. He recommended some great dishes and Giggling Squid favourites which didn't disappoint.”

“Lovely little pub in the heart of Chislehurst. We went for a roast last Sunday and it was delicious, really good quality food with fresh ingredients and a fair price. Definitely be back again this weekend for our roast fix! I recommend the apple & rhubarb crumble too, that was very tasty! Lastly, it was a nice touch that the head chef came out and spoke to us and other tables to ask if everything was good with the food, you could tell it was a lovely place to eat and the staff were very welcoming.”

“Excellent pasta and pizzas - very authentic, good quality ingredients and good value for money overall. The staff are friendly and helpful, the decor is lovely and so the restaurant has a relaxed vibe. Good for groups, families and couples. We’re lucky to have somewhere like this in Chislehurst.”

“Met with family Saturday evening and had a lovely meal. Restaurant is housed in the railway station building at Chislehurst which is a bit unusual. Parking in the station car park is fairly easy. Service excellent, food very good. Had sea bream and husband had skate. All served with fresh vegetables. Everyone had an enjoyable evening in a relaxed atmosphere.”

“Little unexpected gem here. Appears like a wet fish counter but sit down, buy some bubbly and enjoy food that is way way better than you'd expect. Superb casual dining experience. Octopus was best I've ever had. Very highly recommended”

“I ordered a takeaway via "Just Eat" from this restaurant on Saturday evening. Hands down it's the best Indian food I've had since moving into this area, and I've lived here a long time! Well prepared and generous dishes, and value for money to boot! will definitely be ordering from here again.”

Food was really tasty chicken was like butter I had a chicken shashlik my partner had chicken jalfrazi Nan bread was so fresh as well as all the side dishes plus they had a very good wine menu. “Update........ Tryed the fish Friday menu tonight and was delicious, plus you can still order from the bistro menu so plenty of choices including whole lobster and surf and turf. There's a pre book Christmas menu available for the 1st-23rd of December which looks excellent value for money, small deposit required. Great building with plenty of history. Booked bistro for a Sunday roast dinner. Foods good, does get very busy especially for Sunday lunches. Nice bistro and courtyard. Staff amazing! Professional, polite and attentive. Will definitely revisit and try the fish menu available on Friday's. Very limited parking.”

“The best takeaway fish and chips that I have ever eaten. Fresh, moist fish in a well cooked batter, accompanied by fat, delicious chips. The food was still hot and in perfect condition, when we arrived home. Highly recommended.”

“It was a very nice place for a Sunday roast day with a group of friends. Great decor and very friendly staff. The roast chicken was great but roast pork seems a bit too “gammon” hence a bit salty. Beware that the parking along the main road needs to pay parking even in a Remembrance Sunday!”

“Went out for a quick drink after the food shop to the GPO in Eltham. It was such an awful experience so decided to pop to The Queens Head instead. Absolutely great atmosphere, staff were really on it with serving (it was busy). Very polite and having fun. It’s nice to see people behind the bar having a laugh and enjoying their jobs. Will definitely be making this out new regular.”
