“Our 9 month old daughter goes to cuddly bear and she absolutely loves it. The staff are very professional- they did a special weaning menu for my daughter as she started when she was 6 months. This really helped to develop her tastes to different foods. They did a great job at protecting children during the rise of covid infections and have a very strict covid policy. The garden space is beautiful and although it may look rather small from the outside, the space inside is vast. I love the food menu - so much variety that its almost impossible to give your child all that nutrition from home. What I found great was that, my child is always seeing familiar faces and generally tends to have the same child minder. Overall, great place - its 2 doors from us so super convenient. The Sydenham hill branch is in a residential area so its in a quiet surrounding.”

“This is a real gem of a pre-school.  My son who has SEN attended for 2 years.  They were so great with him, applied for additional funding, learnt Makaton and helped get him get an EHCP for primary school.  My daughter now attends and she is super happy there.  They have a wonderful Forest School 3 times a week which my children really enjoyed and they have a lovely bright airy room to play in and access to large cricket field.  The staff are really wonderful, caring and playful.  My kids have thrived here.   The Manager is a Former Head Teacher so there is a lovely gentle educational slant to their play.  Honestly, best pre-school/nursery for miles!”

“My baby is really happy at this nursery, although it’s her first time. She bonded quickly with her key person and baby room staff. She learns many things every day. I chose this nursery because the staff, including the manager is really loving, caring, friendly and welcoming, they have a huge garden, and they have a chef who is making food every day from scratch, and is serving fruits instead of desserts / sweets, which was so important for me. They also cater to food allergies or intolerances. The nursery is refurbished almost completely now and looking much better than it was before. The manager is working really hard every day to make there better and better and implements her original, positive ideas. They have regular outings to local parks, the nature park, and the library which is great. They also have a Spanish music class in all rooms every Wednesday. All of these, and meals, nappies are included in the fees. Plus, they are a Montessori nursery. I am really content with the level of care, staff, activities, and facilities there.”

“Sofia has looked after our daughter 5 days a week for over 2 years and we have been very happy with all aspects of her care. Sofia is always happy, calm and very patient. She has helped our daughter develop through various sensory, arts, crafts and seasonal activities. We love the mix of activities and days out that Sofia arranges for the children eg the farm, museums, zoo, parks etc but with the care of a home setting. They do something everyday and our daughter always comes home with plenty to say! The children do singing, dancing, yoga, reading, nursery rhymes and one-on-one learning; our daughters vocab, counting has come on so well. Nutrition wise, very importantly, the variation, quantity and quality is perfect. Without doubt the best start to your child’s early years life you could wish for.”

“I highly recommend Fatemahs Day Nursery, the management team and aunties are all very professional and provide excellent and loving care to our little boy. Prior to nursery our little boy didn’t have the chance to socialise with many others due to lockdown and so we were very anxious about leaving him. But he settled in immediately, eating well there, sleeping well, playing and developing so many new skills. “My daughter started at Lilliput's aged 11months - 4yrs. I am so incredibly happy we chose Lilliput's, the staff are fantastic and facilities are excellent. I have never seen a happier group of kids and they adore all the teachers. COVID was challenging for everyone, but not only did Lilliput's not charge for the time they were closed (lots of other nurseries in the area did). They also didn't have one case of COVID in the 14 months we were there. Can't recommend highly enough.”
