Varandah Indian Kitchen and Bar
● Closed“Went there for dinner and weren’t disappointed! The food was spot on and amazing! Potentially the best Indian food we’ve had in London - definitely in the top 3 places. The live music created a good vibe - thought to be honest, initially we thought it was too loud but as time went on, the ambience got better and the music too! The service was brilliant as well. The staff was very courteous and helpful. All in all, must say it’s one of the best places to experience Indian cuisine and hospitality.”
-
Indian Ocean
● Closed“This is the best curry is South West London, possibly the world. This is the third time I have ordered and every time it has been utterly delicious! The portions are as big as the flavours. I consider myself an aficionado of a ‘proper curry’ and this is! The shredded tandoori chicken dish is so good (36), the chicken tikka pathia is deliciously sweet and sour with proper pieces of chunky tikka, perfectly soft and salty saag aloo and sweet and creamy motor pannier. The nann and poppadom - all done to perfection, as has been the service. I am so happy to have found you! The lovely man on the phone said that Indian Ocean has been there for 29 years, It’s sooooo obvious why! All hail the king of curries! Long may you reign!”

Baluchi - A Pan Indian Destination
● Closed“Really good Indian restaurant. The butter chicken was probably the best I’ve had. The Naans and especially the cheese one were amazing! The chicken biryani was real good. Interesting margarita cocktail as well, with an indian twist! Only negative is that’s Quite pricey and the decoration of the room looks a bit neglected.”

Mala Indian Kitchen & Bar
● Closed“Great comms via Instagram (I brought my small dog with me so wanted to check if it was dog-friendly, which it is). We sat outside, which was quiet (I suspect busier during the week with the Canary Wharf work crowd) but more people dined inside. Staff were amazing- very attentive, friendly & accommodating. We went for the 2-course lunch menu, which included thali options as the main. This was perfect for us, as it had a bit of everything you fancied. My friend is coeliac, which wasn't a problem, as most of the dishes were gluten-free. The food was tasty & portions were generous (especially the starters). I would highly recommend & look forward to returning again soon!”

Indian Moment
● Closed“The food here was delicious. I have never been a big food of Indian Cuisine, but Indian Moment prepared me a fantastic meal. The flavor was phenomenal, far better than Indian food I've had in America. The service was really good, and the food came out rather quickly. The atmosphere was nice, and the decor was well done. I would definitely reccomend this place to my friends in family if they are ever in the Battersea area of London. I would eat here again if I had the chance and explore the menu.”

Queen’s Indian
● Closed“I ordered at take away on Just Eat 07/12/2021. My food was absolutely delicious and there was absolutely nothing wrong with the food. I ordered a Chicken Vindaloo, a portion of plain rice and 4 Puris. I was very pleased to discover that this restaurant does Puris, as not all Indian restaurants do and it is one of my favourite Indian breads. I will definitely be ordering again from Queens. Well done guys keep up the good work. For those of you who are slating this restaurant and saying it is bad, I have to disagree. I am also Indian myself so I know a good curry from a bad one.”
