“My husband and I are so pleased to see L'Assaggino opened in Kingston after our lovely experience at the Richmond restaurant. The staff at lunchtime today were very pleasant and helpful, the menu was varied & interesting and the food was absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced considering the very high quality of it; the wine we chose was so nice we wanted to buy some to bring home. We look forward to returning to what could well be our new favourite local. Well done to the whole team there, we wish you all continued success.”

“This place was great! Authentic German restaurant with nice outlook over the river. Wait staff dressed accordingly and everyone was very welcoming. It’s very meat based (as would be expected) but they have some veggie/vegan options which my friends enjoyed. I had sausages, mash and sauerkraut which was yum! And of course all the beer and wine is German too. Recommend booking ahead as it gets busy - but we were luckily able to get a walk-in on a Saturday night. We were in the smoking area outside but no one was actually smoking. Tables are big and good for groups. Will be back!”

“Visited this restaurant on Saturday with my sister. We ordered from the lunchtime tapas menu. There was a great variety on offer. Our food was delivered very quickly, was piping hot and fresh. The host and waiters were all friendly and polite. Service was excellent. Highlights were the salt and pepper squid, pork dumplings and Phuket mussels.”

“Nice Bill’s right on the riverbank. Plenty of outside seating which is nice in summer. Very nice and friendly staff, prices are a little high but the food is good. Nice selection on offer and food is cooked very well. The cinnamon donuts are out of this world by the way!”

“Ordered off them Almost religiously for the last year and their pizza is so tasty always cooked just right and delivered super fast! All their drivers have all been polite and very kind to the kids that lie to answer the door with me... I felt like it was time I gave them a review as I know not enough people remember to review amazing service! I'm usually one of those people but a recent trip to another ocal pizza place was shambolic and made me realise how amazing and faultless these guys are! They always have lots of deals on and are very reasonably priced with them! I only wished they accepted cash but I understand why they don't right now and hopefully this option will return once things are "normal" again! “I’ve never eaten at Poor Boys but have ordered from here a number of times and they never disappoint. In my opinion this is the best takeaway option in Kingston if you’re looking for American food. It’s not cheap but the food is delicious and always cooked to a high standard. I wouldn’t order the calamari again as this doesn’t travel well, but everything else can easily be heated up on the oven without compromising the quality. I love the popcorn cauliflower and was really disappointed to see this isn’t available as a starter/snack anymore, but hope they’ll bring it back soon. I’m a meat eater but always loved ordering it as a great side! The Cajun fries are an absolute must too.”

“I don’t know even know where to start, this place makes the best takeaway food, the chicken tikka wraps are just heavenly, amazing with fresh Nan. The chicken is just so fresh and juicy. “A nice new find in Kingston, very spacious and the garden at the back is a nice touch! We were welcomed by the owner who was friendly and welcoming. Last week I had a takeaway cappuccino, and this week I decided to sit in and try the chai latte which I devoured alongside a vegan croissant! My friend had the carrot cake and she said it was nice. I normally go to pret, but now I’ll probably go here because the coffee is much nicer (& organic!!) and it’s peaceful!! They have paninis too, might try next time I’m in town.”

If you want a breakfast as part of a keto routine, no worries… it’s halal, it’s vegan it’s…. Everything. They support all the football clubs this side of london, and this is reflected by the people within being a zany delightful bunch. You know when you want to eat healthily you go to one place, and unhealthy you go to another? Well…. “There curry’s are delicious. Has a very homely flavour to them which is very close to authentic Bangali/Indian curry. Had their lamb madras which was lovely, could be hotter but nonetheless was yummy. My favourite is their Dhaal dish! Absolutely scrumptious and has such a silky taste! The best Iv tasted in a very long time! Light in taste just the way it should be. I highly recommend! And food arrived piping hot!”
