I had previously had a lifelong nervousness about dentists and partly as a result I had developed many and complex problems requiring a large number of treatments and procedures including root canal, extractions, implants and bone grafting. The stuff of nightmares. However from the first time I attended bright and white I knew I was in safe hands. Gurwinder is a superb dentist and provided all my treatments with wonderful results. He was so good that despite the complexity of treatments required I don’t think I ever felt even any real discomfort which I find incredible. Even more, his care and patience is above and beyond. He developed a detailed plan for all the treatment I needed, and explained it all in detail and clearly in a way I could understand and at each stage he talked me through what was happening so I felt a real sense of progress. The results have been amazing and I am so lucky to have found bright and white. All the staff (who I met many times of course!) are always unfailingly professional polite and helpful. I would and will recommend bright and white to anyone who needs a dentist. If they can help me they can help anyone!”

“I've always been terrified of getting dental work done and put it off for years after some failed experiences. I bit the bullet and decided to go to Wimbledon Dental & Implant Centre for full treatment that involved fixing some untreated cavities and getting braces. At the advice of Dr Ammar Al Hakeem, I opted for the Invisalign plan and I could not be happier with the results. My teeth have never looked better and Dr Ammar did not rest until the final results were the best possible. And most importantly, Dr Ammar together with nurse Josie made sure I was calm and comfortable during every procedure, explaining everything and keeping a light atmosphere. “Excellent Hygienist! I have been a patient of Dr Erika's for a number of years now and I am so happy with her work and manner that I have moved across to her new practice, Colindale Dental. I have seen a number of dental practitioners over the years and those experiences were often painful, leading me to believe that having my teeth cleaned was a painful experience by default, something I simply had to get used to. However, when I had my first clean with Dr Erika, not only was the experience pain-free but she immediately identified that I had gum disease - something everyone I had seen before had missed. She took the time to explain exactly how the condition affected me and in a way that made sense to me as a lay person. She also patiently answered all my questions and made me feel empowered to take the next steps. She advised me that I needed to see a periodontist. On visiting this specialist, an urgent course of treatment was undertaken and they went as far as to say Dr Erika’s advice had ‘saved my teeth!’ As is probably clear by now, I cannot recommend this Hygienist enough, she is warm, friendly and excellent at what she does.”

However, I went to see Shirin, who specialises in deep dental hygiene sessions. Shirin made me feel comfortable, allowing me to share my anxiety about these appointments. “My dental and implant story is a long and painful one. I damaged a front tooth in a PE accident in primary school. From that lesson onwards I had a complex -- covering my mouth with my hand each time I smiled. I had an implant to fix this problem around 8 years ago. The implant was fitted by another dentist. The process and end result was disastrous. In time, I accepted that I was someone without a nice smile. Unfortunately the dental implant went from being aesthetically unpleasant, to an actual health issue. I won't go into details but I had serious gum and bone issues. I saw several dentists and it seems no one knew how to attempt to fix the issue. Eventually I was referred to Dr Martin Wanendeya. First impressions of Martin were he's a serious professional who really knows his stuff. He said we had to act now and although this was a very complicated case, he believed he could fix the issue. I felt I could trust Martin from the first moment. I needed to trust him as I was about to embark on an 18 month journey involving multiple bone and gum grafts and more injections into the front of my mouth than I wish to count. To cut a long story short, I attended my wedding with a smile I could be proud of. The gum work Martin did is incredible. The end result was better than I thought possible. The word genius is overused these days. I genuinely believe Martin is a genius. He should be proud of the heights he's reached in his chosen profession. He's a perfectionist, he's ambitious and he has world-class technical skills. It's obvious all his colleagues look up to him. Meeting Martin has genuinely been life changing for me and I will be forever be grateful for his work. Debbie Zotou is also a perfectionist and an incredible dentist. After Martin had given me new gum and bone, Debbie stepped in to create my new tooth. Her attention to detail borders on the obsessive -- and this is exactly what you want from someone managing the process of creating and fitting your implant. No matter how much of her time was needed, she wasn't satisfied until she felt the job was as perfect as could possibly be achieved. Thank you Debbie. I appreciate this is a long review -- but I had a lot to say. I am truly grateful for all Martin and Debbie have done. You've genuinely changed my life for the better, as dramatic as that sounds. I no longer cover my mouth with my hand when I smile.”
