“I am still wondering how is possible that komakai can deliver such an outstanding quality being a take away sushi business. Yes, you read correctly. We all know that sushi is not cheap. We also know that it is pretty hard to find a trustable sushi bar/restaurant. In London or where ever... I know about fish quality because my parents are fishmongers in Barcelona (enough said). And when you think your found one pretty acceptable then the bill arrives to the table and the price do not match with the quality delivered. That has been my main surprise with komakai. If you had this sushi served in a restaurant, the bill will be over £200 for 2 people’s dinner. Yes, £200! Please don’t take my advice for granted. Give it a go and you will be as pleasantly surprised as me. If you are lucky enough to live in south east London (or making a big enough order and further delivery can be considered) try Komakai. Check the pics in Instagram (komakaisushilondon) they speak by them self. Check my pics taken at home. Even my cat (Neo) realised about it! Bon appetite!!”

“We stopped here for a spot of dinner and we were very impressed. The restaurant was very quiet but it was early evening, and we were greeted with a warm welcome. The food was good and value for money. There are alcoholic and soft drinks available and an extensive menu The restaurant is clean and modern and the staff Very friendly and helpful.”

“Quality grub, Cod was very generous in size and chips were very delicious. Definitely try the cod and they do surprisingly good grilled burgers! Also southern fried chicken with chip shop chips is awesome!”

“Really nice little restaurant. Street parking available around the area. Was a bit apprehensive at first, as they were selling both, Chinese and Japanese cuisine, as we had gone there predominantly for sushi. Needless to say, the food was GREAT!!! The guy that served our table was brilliant. Friendly, attentive, and always at hand. Definitely on my list of favourite restaurants!”

“Best Indian I’ve ever had. No doubt. Very friendly staff and excellent service. They have at least 8 chefs in the kitchen and 6-7 staff waiting tables, so it’s very well run restaurant. I’ll definitely be coming again. Delicious - Balti Jalfreezi, Lamb Kattamita, Lamb Roygan Josh, Onion Bhaji. Some minor adjustments/personal criticisms - Bombay potatoes could do with some more spice and flavour, more coconut with the pashwaari naan, more attention given to size of onions in the balti and the freshness of those onions (some had hard texture)”

“Today I visited Honeydale tea rooms ! I was blown away with the impeccable service by a young man named Lucas & a young lady Liberty ! They were so helpful , we were a very demanding table of lady’s that lunch and not once did their enthusiasm fade. They made us very welcome & we’re so helpful and polite . The food was very nice too ! I would definitely go back and hope to be served by these wonderful humans again! Many thanks ! A very happy customer!! :-)”

“I have tried quite a few different Chinese takeaways but this is the best one I have ever had in my life. My go to order is chicken chow mein, chips and curry sauce. It is amazing. I don’t know how the fen make their chips so perfect but they really do! I cannot recommend this place enough!!!”

“Superb curtious service , compared to others this place is the best by a long long way. Happy days a decent take away local to me. Second visit: XL pizza pepperoni plus. A massive meal for 2 people! I walked in ordered waited less than fifteen minutes. Home with piping hot pizza within 20 minutes. Was it as good ? Same pizza - same waitress- same chef - Same Perfection - For under £10 - Total no brainer x Superb and thank you.”

“Went to Penelope’s on Wednesday, it’s opening day. My daughter and I had the Penelope’s special pancakes. They were amazing with fresh fruit , syrup and clotted cream. The restaurant has been beautifully decorated inside and has an fab outdoor area. There is a farm shop which you can also access via the restaurant selling lots of local produce. I picked up some funky pasta, a baking kit for my daughter and some doggy treats . A super first experience and can’t wait to try the pizzas .”

“Yum!! Such a delicious Chinese takeaway. We ordered a fairly large selection and it was all so so lovely. The ribs in bbq sauce and the crispy aromatic duck were highlights! Definitely reccomend!!”

“I cannot rate this place highly enough! I've been a customer for at least 12 yea4s and I can honestly say hand on heart I have NEVER had a bad meal! It's excellent every time, food tastes wonderful, is always hot and delivered in an incredible time frame. In some cases 20mins from ordering! They are in my opinion the best Chinese in this area!”
