Press Cafe
“I love the people who work here. They are happy, talkative and ready to help in any way they can. I also really like the fact that this is a small business, not a chain. I feel like I am supporting the little guy when I give my money to them.”
La Gourmandise Cafe
“My favourite cafe in East Finchley! The staff are always so friendly and accommodating especially helping me get in and out with a pram. Lovely selection of cakes and pastries (my fave is the almond croissant) plus great brekkie options. Highly recommend!”
Elly's Cafe
“Fantastic quality meals, friendly staff at an affordable price. I come here for a bang up full English breakfast and a quick lunch.”

Cafe Elena
“Best margarita pizza I've had in London. The sourdough was perfect and it was so cheesy but felt light at the same time. Can't wait to go back!”

Qima Cafe
“Qima Cafe is a gem! If you’re a coffee lover like myself, then you simply must try this wonderful cafe, with its delicious, stimulating, and ethically sourced selection of coffee. The baristas here are all fantastic, they know exactly how to make the perfect cup of coffee, and serve it with flair! I adore the interior design too - warm terracotta tones with a minimalist finish. The coffee is served in beautifully ornate ceramic crockery which gives the whole experience a touch of artistry. Outstanding!”
Cravings Cafe
“Absolutely amazing chicken and lamb shish, good portion and decent prices. Keep it up, will definitely order again.”
Old St Cafe
“Great vibes! Friendly staff, homely/cosy feel and a calm atmosphere. My new go to. Oh, and 10/10 pain au raisins!”
G Cafe London
“Best if you are craving homemade indian food. Especially if you are a gujarati. The owner will make you gujarati food like Khaman and Dhokla at an affordable price if you order in advance. You can also get Aloo Paratha, Pav bhaji, pani puri, etc. The food is amazing and the price is really affordable.”
Current Cafe
“Delicious food and great coffee, never been disappointed here! Just make sure you go early because they sometimes sell out of the more popular dishes later in the day!”
Cafe Corso
“It's a little hidden gem in Wood Green. Many would expect to have their coffee on a main road, right? Because this is just how cafes in England are. But I 've searching for a quite and cozy place where I can enjoy my morning coffee and O finally found it at Corso. It's uniqueness and artisan style are just one of the many things that make it stand out. The friendly smile of the staff and the outstanding cleaness of the place rates at 5.”
New Acre Cafe
“Nice little cafe and their hot chocolate is amazing.”
Kennington Lane Cafe
“There is something special about meeting the owner especially when he offers you to try the kebab doner. Come in groups or if you are a loner, but let me tell you no space if you are a moaner. Portions are generous and big, options are plenty for vegetarians and those who like to eat the whole pig, I think there is even a cake with fig, A 5/5 spot, the kind I dig.”
Clubhouse Cafe
“Impossible not to love the Clubhouse Cafe. A great local spot for coffee or lunch. I’d recommend the salads, huge portions at a decent price. Plus it’s always full of cute dogs!”
Sem's Cafe
“OMG, if you like your cafés to be cheerful & traditional, this is the place. Proper cafe grub, lovely red padded seats in cosy booths, staff who make you feel like a prince (and nice clean loos, btw). I was in & out but really, this is the sort of place you meet up with people and hammer out issues over a fry-up & endless mugs of tea.”
Hilly Cafe
“Super friendly and welcoming cafe with good quality food! Must recommend the Shawarma wrap!!”
Ness' Cafe
“Welcoming atmosphere and delicious cooked breakfast. Highly recommend!”
Bijou Cafe
“Went for lunch. They were closed but the owner offered to give us takeaway and let us sit down for the meal. Two paninis were really good. Local place, good food and great friendly service. One to keep coming back to”
Mountsfield Park Cafe
“Oh my gosh, I have never thought of a cafe in the park being a contender for "nicest cafe in the area" vibe, but this is exactly what Mountsfield Park Cafe is! My favourite cafe in all of Hither Green and Catford. The fact it's in Mountsfield Park is an asset too, I love nature, and the whole vibe is very non-pretentious. Every single staff member is consistantly lovely, so even when I turn up looking a bit rough for wear, I don't feel like i'm not welcome :) Before this cafe, I really wasn't fussed or could taste the difference in coffee, but now i've gone back so many times (because their coffee is delicious) that I can now taste the difference in other cafes ha!! I'm going to move out of Hither Green soon but i've already thought about how I can still regularly come back to this lovely place and park. It's been a really consistant highlight and peaceful thing to do”
Top Chef Cafe
“Cannot recommend Ray and the staff enough at Top Chef Cafe! Super friendly service and very very generous with the food and making you feel welcome. Very fairly priced 10/10”
Cafe Jasmine
“Great staff and great food. Friday special- fish and chips is amazing. Definitely gets a 5 ⭐️”
