I love spicy food and the burger was just perfect! My burger looked like the picture they have on the menu. Fully satisfied with the flavours, worth every single penny. “Went here on a trip from peterborough to see our son and daughter in law, been looking forward to it since it has been done up. The truly traditional makeover is brilliant, little snugs, great choice of beers, staff so friendly and dog friendly, even a nice traditional fireplace. Not normally a sports pub as such I an told even though though back to the days of the West Ham games, but FIFA World Cup screened at the moment. We all had a meal too, not Michelin but it is pub grub after all , the Chicken Kiev was not good, Pork chops great and fish and chips average.. however just a great experience and place overall.”

“Third time coming here and this time has been the best visit yet! Great service by an attentive and hard-working young Asian man who made sure our food came out on time and our needs were met. We ordered the sirloin steak with mushroom sauce, which never disappoints. The chips were amazing as per usual. The side of mac and cheese was nice and hearty enough to keep us full. We also ordered our favourite- the Mess burger- which just hit the spot as usual and melted in your mouth! Great experience, lovely atmosphere and all in all happy :)”
