“Outrageously good food! I love Asian / oriental food, and it's so frustratingly hard to find a good, clean chinese takeaway. Was so happy when I found Chop Suey Centre - I went for the chicken and prawn sweet and sour with egg fried rice. Unbelievable!!! You can tell that they use good quality produce, the chicken was incredible, prawns tasted amazing, the sauce was just right. Cannot wait to go again, already recommended this place to many friends!”

“I was in the area and decided to visit this place. It has always been on my radar and this is the closest of three branches. Previous reviews naturally set my expectations high. Ekachai is an enchanting experience - right from the friendly service to the nasal nourishing food. The portions are very impressive which is great! Definitely recommend the food in pics. The pad thai seems a hot favourite. The star of the meal was the Thai coffee lon. A nostalgic taste if you had home made coffee. Do visit with an appetite to not waste food :) In terms of atmosphere the place could do a revamp. The food is very reasonably priced and makes you feel gallivanting south east Asia in all its glory.”

Went as a group at lunchtime, booked for 2pm but their kitchen closes shortly before 3pm and they accommodated a large order at such speed but didn't compromise on quality. Would happily go back again, the food was amazing. Curries are definitely right size for 1 person so we ordered multiple to act as sharers but all come with plenty of rice.”

“A little hiddem gem I've ordered takeaway from here at least 10 times. The food is perfect and same every time. Squid is crispy and sweet and salty and if recommend. It doesn't look from the outside as good as what it is so prepare to be nicely surprised. Not too pricey as Well, the Currys are also very good. If you're a lover of Asian food they have a beautiful selection of the best foods.”

“We went here on a Saturday for a birthday meal. What stood out for me was the excellent customer service right from the moment we were at the door. They checked on us frequently making sure we were OK, were very polite and nothing was too much bother. The decor was stunning and made for a lovely atmosphere, as well as giving us some lovely pictures! The food was delicious. I had the som tam papaya salad and the giant butterflied king prawn Pad Thai which was quite unique, and very yummy. My husband had the red curry which was delicious and not too spicy. Other family members had the prawn Pad Thai and massaman curry which they enjoyed. This was my baby's first time trying Thai food and even she loved it- she enjoyed the dumplings and massaman curry from the kids menu! The drinks menu was fabulous, we really enjoyed our mocktails. We had 2 young children including a baby with us and the staff were very accommodating. The kids menu was lovely and impressively had none of the usual rubbish junk food on other restaurants' kids menus. The toilets were clean and hygienic. It was my father in law's birthday and they were kind enough to bring out a slice of cake with a candle and sing happy birthday (without being asked). It was the cherry on top of a perfect evening. We loved it and will be back. One thing to note is that there I don't think there is any step-free access that I could see- the manager helped us carry our baby's buggy in- so it may be an issue for wheelchair users. The closest parking was the Fremlin walk car park.”

“Wow, amazing food! The order was delivered earlier than expected, pricing was fair and everything was so fresh and tasty. I got the tom yum soup (stole my heart), the malaysian chicken (amazing taste, quite sweet), and green thai curry (on the spicy side). Big portions, lots of flavour, highly recommended!”

“Best Chinese takeaway/delivery in Chelsea I am oriental and have tried so many Chinese takeaway/deliveries in Chelsea or surrounding areas for years, but I couldn’t find the one I really liked until last night. My points of choices for takeaway Chinese are 1) reasonable price (it has to be takeaway price not restaurant one) 2) food qualities and quantities are matching to the prices 3) tasty - no point eating cheap and bad food 4) reliability and honesty 5) good ingredients - no cheap substitutions 6) delivery without relying on food delivery companies (this is optional but I prefer food delivered by themselves) 7) good communications. I found very hard to find the one which filled all the boxes, especially if they deliver. Oriental Kitchen Express got all the ticks! We ordered Vegetable Hot and Sour soup (very tasty but my husband thought a little low in umami - since it’s vegetarian, it might be. If there’s a meat version, I would have chosen it but only seafood and vegetarian ones were available. I found it still yummy. Good flavor and balance of chili & sourness was very good) Crispy squid with chili (much better than my expectation. Often this dish by takeaway is rubbery and no flavor with too much salt to hide the cheap ingredients) Beef slice with mixed veggies with crispy noodles (noodles were still crispy and beef was tender and mix veggies were really mix veggies including straw mushrooms - often cheaper substitutions), Kanpo chicken with egg fried rice - this is their version of kanpo chicken and if you are thinking of Sichuan dry kanpo chicken, don’t order it. It’s more like chicken sweet and sour but it is yummy. It contains water chestnuts and tenderly deep fried chicken and crunchy water chestnuts combo is a very good harmony. They are in business for 27 years and are proud of their food and service. They proved it to us last night. We are very happy with them. It was a recommendation of my oriental friend and it will go to my friends with words of mouth. Hope they continue keeping their standards!!”

“The food was great and reasonably priced. Loved the lychee bubble tea. The service was really quick too. We went on a Sunday afternoon and the place was very quiet so not sure if it get's busy on the weekdays. All in all, we had a great time!”

“Have had several take-outs from here lately. Food is very good, nice flavours and even well presented. Importantly, meat is reasonable; quality and portions so I don't feel I'm getting a second class meal because it's take away. Online ordering is fast and efficient. Collection is easy with a free carpark nearby. Worthwhile discount for collection too. Restaurant looks nice and we mean to try a "Banqueting Night" soon.”
