Sarah manages to get the balance between laid back and encouraging ambition. Children who just want to have fun are welcome here and there are great opportunities for those who wish to take their performing arts seriously. You can take your dance G.C.S.E. and several NCAD protégées have gone on to star in West End shows. Classes are often 90 minutes (at cheaper prices!), so you get more of a chance to learn the choreo. People pay before class (no door fee, just class fee) so teachers don't have to stop teaching to collect money from people. Since opening they've fixed the remaining bits and pieces - there are benches in change rooms now and mirrors in the studios don't get misty any more! No showers though.”
