“Hired Mill End CC for my Son’s 6th Birthday Party. Was able to hire both the Main Hall & the Large Garden which was ideal for a kids birthday party in Summer. Sylwia was a delight to deal with, met us to show us around, and answered any queries we had promptly. Plenty of tables / chairs and space to adequately cater for any number of guests from about 1-30. Use of kitchen to prepare food also very helpful, and I thought the cost of it all was very fair.”

“Fantastic modern way of telling Mandela’s story. A must visit. The exposition is a perfect mix of digital screens and historic pieces. The story of Mandela is something that needs to be told and told.”

“A proper cinema on the center of London - the screening rooms are clean, with eloquent decoration and design, making any film you’re watching feel like you’re watching a premiere. The lack of fresh popcorn is a bummer but the extensive bar and cafe make up for it. Would definitely recommend.”

“Most recently saw Ukrainian State Opera here. It's a nice venue, staff are friendly and helpful. Good view from any seat in my experience, but best suited to performances where you sit and listen. Don't expect to get up and boogie - it's not that sort of venue. They have a second, much smaller performance area too, which is nice and intimate. Easy parking nearby in the multi-storey.”

“We booked for 2 as the reviews showed fabulous food and staff. We chose 2 menus, one vegetarian and the plates just didn't stop coming. We couldn't believe how much food we were being served. We drank Lebanese wine and beer which were also excellent. While we still had plenty of food on the table, the friendly waitress brought more tasting plates and announced she would bring the main course in 15 minutes! We were amazed that there was more food to come. The restaurant is a real gem. The staff are genuinely warm and explained each dish as it was served. We loved the wine wall and the coloured lighting. Will definitely return to repeat the experience. We had to take away the baklava as we were simply too full. That was lovely too. Thank you.”

“A lovely family park which boasts Ancient trees and a small quiet garden for contemplation. There is a place for hanging prayer bundles on the good medicine tree to remember loved ones and to ask our ancestors to send healing out across the world”

“Great place for all the family. Ducks, geese, and squirrels to feed. Big grass area for picnics or to play on. Lovely cafe in the playground are for food, drinks and ice creams. Been going there for years.”

“Stop right there!! Ok, I admit that I'm enamored with the place. From the art in public places to the relaxing sound of the many water falls, this is a place to sit and have a bite, smell the fresh air and day dream. Dozens of places to get what your mood feels like to eat. Great!!”

“Came here for Parkrun, a parkrun in a stunning setting with really friendly people. Had a lovely walk and recci before and after our run. Well maintained park with lots to do. Had a cooked breakfast at Valentines cafe which soon was very busy and was great value. We then had another walk and coffee in the walled garden.”

“This is possibly the best park in Greater London - great for dogs and active kids. Lots of wide open green space, woodland copses, tree-lined avenues, a small formal garden, a lake with ducks and geese, and the River Wandle flowing through (shallow enough for even small children to have safe fun). There's also a children's playground and cafe. It's everything I want from a park.”

“We love Clissold Park and its goats, deers and birds. The playground is huge and great fun for all ages. The sand could be a bit nicer. Clissold Cafe has a good babychino for my little one and I cannot wait to have the paddling pool redone and open again. Great times in Clissold park. The old, huge trees are impressive as well.”

“This is my second time here. There was five of us and the metre pizza was more than enough. Gloria is really a very nice person she welcomed us and our order took 20 minutes. During this time we were asked if everything was ok twice. The place is really nice. The staff are excellent the pizza was a 10/10 pizza. İt will be on my regular list of dine out places in London. You also get free tap water. And they do have customer toilets.”

Would not call this a curry house, if you looking for tasty Indian food then check it out. Finally, great tasting chai! Edited 17/2/23- I’ve visited and order from here many times since my original review, the food is always great, however, the time I wait in the restaurant and delivery have always been too long, if eating with the kids I avoid visiting and ordering, as the wait is too much for the kids. Have waited upto 40mins in restaurant and even collecting orders waited over 20mins when I have called in advance.”
