“What a wonderful place to eat. Service top notch and the food waves of spicy flavour. To start they brought out a complementary appetiser that was a crispy ball filled with herbs and you then pour in a small glass of tamarind liquid and pop the whole thing in your mouth. Wow! What a fantastic little experience! Then I had the chilli garlic mushrooms. Once you squeeze the lime over it the dish comes alive. Great flavours. For the main I went with the Chicken Khukuri with a garlic naan. Again a great choice. And as a final last nice touch they bring your hot towel out on a purpose built serving plate and add the hot water to it at the table. Great food, great service, great experience.”

“I've been going to Twickenham Tandoori with friends and family for more than 10 years now. The food is reliably excellent, the atmosphere is typically buzzing. This is where people want to go on a Friday night after they've been for a few drinks further up Church Street. In summertime you can dine in the picturesque street outside, in wintertime you're cosy indoors. Well served by excellent staff. I will keep going to this place as long as its doors remain open. It is fantastic and I love it. I'm most certainly not alone.”

“Went here for dinner on a Friday evening in August. Extensive menu and modern interior. Enjoyed the food. Service was good too. As it was really busy we had some difficulty in hearing each other but not much can be done about that.”

“Went with a friend who came down for the weekend. Had a lovely experience - the place is beautifully decorated with a very chilled atmosphere. We chose our bits to paint and weren't rushed or given any timings so we could just paint and chat. Really nice little place, not overly expensive. “Came in here for dinner after the rugby and it was the perfect choice. The food is absolutely smashing and there is so much to choose from for both veggies and meat eaters. “One of my favourite places in London for Indian food. Discovered this gem of a place 5 years ago by accident and we keep going there almost every month, even though we have now moved 6-7 miles away. Great quality food, friendly service and quite economical - a must visit if you are around Twickenham”

“Location is just on the edge of Twickenham town centre. Good pub ambience. There’s a nice all weather garden terrace which is great. Nice food menu with well thought-out selection of tantalising contemporary dishes and a wide array of ales and beers. I had the wild boar sausage served with creamy mash, green beans and lovely onion gravy. My lunch companion had the pan fried seabass served with green beans, lovely spring onions mashed potatoes. This was topped with white wine creamy sauce that had brown shrimps and chives. I must say the food was generally above average quality. The restaurant team and the waiting staff were extremely polite, eager to help and very cheerful.”

“Great Pub! came in on Friday evening, great atmosphere, nice music, not too loud, my girlfriend had a Sourdough Pizza which was awesome! I had the Jerk Salmon dish was delicious. Great selection of beers too!! Staff were really chatty and fun and helpful. Good Stuff!!”

“We ordered two meat thali and one veggie thali for takeaway. They were well packaged and usefully labelled and the food tasted amazing. Particular me to the butter chicken chick peas. The samosas were crunchy and full of filling, and bread light and fluffy. Like other reviews we look forward to trying the full menu, but for tasty home made Indian food at a very reasonable price look no further. 10/10.”
