“Fantastic little find. Descended on this gem with a double buggy and 4 hot and hangry children ranging from 1 to 14 years old. Staff were friendly, food was really yummy, and great prices. All 5 of us were fed and had sufficient drinks on £37! Service is not included on the bill so make sure to bring some change. Staff definitely deserve it!”

Katzenjammers

24 Southwark Street, London SE1 1TY, United Kingdom

“Whether you like this place will depend on how much you like German beer and Bratwurst… luckily I like both in big quantities!! Loads of great beers to try and I mean loads!! Fun food menu… doesn’t try to pretend to be anything too swanky… good choice of sausage, loads of cabbage and sauerkraut and generous with the chips… what more could you want!! If you grab it on a busy night… atmosphere is brilliant too!! A little local fave of mine!”

“We went for Sunday roast. We'd booked in advance but still got seated at the bar which surrounds the kitchen. It isn't where we would've chosen to sit. However, it grew on us. We had enough space and the close up view of everything being cooked added to the atmosphere. Its worth noting that it's fairly dark inside. But thats the vibe and it worked well. My wife and I ordered the three beast feast. It's a lot of food. It comes with roast potatoes, veg and huge Yorkshire puddings. We couldn't finish it all. So no need to order extras. Having said that, I do sort of regret not ordering the Cauliflower cheese on the side. It looked great. We paired it with a bottle of the house red. It was great. No need to upgrade from the house option in my opinion. We had the cookie to finish. Soft, warm, and not too sweet. Definitely worthwhile. We paid about £115 including tip.”
