As I’m progressing week by week I am becoming more confident and fitter! I usually start new hobbies and give them up quite quickly but I certainly won’t be giving up dancing with Forever Dance both Richard and Jeni are fabulous!!”

Bodens Performing Arts
● Open“I have been attending bodens for about five years now and in those five years I have learnt so many new skills. I currently attend their Saturday morning combined musical theatre classes from 10am-1pm and their tap dance classes on Mondays from 5pm-5:45pm. I also take part in Trinity musical theatre exams which I am very lucky and grateful to do. Bodens has given me many opportunities and taught me many things that I will use in everyday life and in the future. Being a student at bodens has helped my confidence grow massively. They never fail to produce incredible shows where every student is involved and having fun. All members of staff are lovely and are always nice . They encourage us to take risks in theatre and help us understand what life is like in the theatre industry. Not only are the staff kind, but the students are too; they are all very welcoming to new people and are always open to making new friends. I have really enjoyed every moment during my time at bodens so far, and I think other young people should get to experience this too.”

The Totteridge Academy
● Open“I am choosing to write these reviews since I need to emphasise that this school is not what it was before United Learning came in. Where else are you going to find a headteacher that remembers everybody's names, where the year 11s are going for sixth form, and what the kids' interests are? Mr Fairbairn has drastically improved this school by simply deciding to be an active headteacher, not giving kids excuses to do nothing, and ensuring everyone is learning. External cover teachers were rare during my time there. Mr Fairbairn even covered my physics class while they attempted to find a new physics teacher for my GCSE class. I joined in year 10. During my first GCSE art class, he took the time out to come up to me, greet me, talk to me about why I chose TTA, and even asked how my brother, who had left for sixth form at the time, was. This is just Mr Fairbairn. I won't even go on about the rest of the staff with how supportive, how caring, and how professional they all are. You have teachers like Mrs Palmer who has been at the school for decades and still has an absolute love for teaching and drive to inspire. There's a misconception that the school is a hotpot for crime and where all the misbehaved kids go, but trust me, this is not tolerated by the staff and is not true in the slightest. Thank you for supporting me, TTA.”

The staff are friendly, kind and approachable. Chris communicates well and always responds quickly to any questions. Twinkle Stars Montessori Nursery - Pre-school
● Open18 Lyonsdown Road, New Barnet, Barnet EN5 1JE, United Kingdom“A very personalized, family oriented nursery. Teachers are always looking after the well being of each child, including if the kid speaks another language other than English or parents come from abroad. Teachers are very friendly, and are always careful with hygiene inside nursery and children's health. There are field trips and different activities organized throughout the year so children learn a lot about the world that surrounds them. They have two outdoor play areas. My daughter loved the couple of years she went there before starting reception and made really nice friends.”

Alphablocks Nursery School & Pre-Prep
● Open“My son was at Alphablocks for 2.5 years and he loved it there. His days were filled with both teacher led and independent fun activities in a safe and nurturing environment. All the team were interested in his development and by the time he left, their investment in him was evident. I was also very happy with the personal care given to him from when he started there in diapers to being toilet trained when he left. One of the first things that attracted me to the Nursery was the extensive outdoor space. The children spend a lot of time outdoors in most weather playing, learning and exploring. It also helped in preparation for Reception that Alphablocks introduces the children to Phonics and Numeracy early. I also liked that the Nursery uses storybook themes in an inventive way as part of the children’s learning. I can’t recommend Alphablocks highly enough.”

Mount House School
● Open“My daughter is about to start in Year 7 and so far we have nothing but positive feelings about the school. I'm posting this now since I want to start seeing the reviews get turned around so that the efforts of the school under the new Head, Mrs Richardson, can be publicly acknowledged. Clearly the school has had a ropey past as a different school with a different Head but from what I can tell, it is a new start for Mount House and the school is on the 'up'. If that's not the case, I'll update my review once my daughter has started and I can review from 'the inside'.”
