I have 2 sons that have been a part of Centre stage from the age of 4, my eldest is now in his late twenties and my youngest has recently turned 16. Centre stage has been an amazing platform for them both, they have developed with confidence not only in the world of Performing Arts, Dance, and music, but knowing who they are and striving to be their better self. I'm proud as a parent to be a part of Centre Stage family, none of this would be possible without the owner Carole Oshea, she has a carefully selected dedicated Team / staff you makes every child feel worthy and able irrespective of race, colour, disability etc. Her Team are an absolute inspiration to our children, their patience and passion for what they do so well is a testament to their commitment. Every child takes front of stage and has an important part to play. I would encourage any child to be a part of such a unique establishment. I'm a parent that has witnessed the talent that has be born from Centre Stage many moving on to Television, Theatre, etc. both in the UK and abroad, I myself have sat in the cinema and watched my son on the big screen. None of this would have been possible without Centre Stage. I would like to thank Centre Stage for the love, kindness and nurturing that so many children have been afforded during the many classes and productions which they have taken part in, our children have received a true blessing and will go on to be positive children of the future. The staff are so warm and welcoming at drop off, and I feel completely comfortable seeing him off at the door (due to Covid). The staff make parents feel as involved as they can given restrictions. I trained at one of the UK’s top drama schools, but since working with Robyn I’ve been able to access whole new levels of truth and emotional connection in my work. Robyn is an incredibly dedicated, passionate and gifted teacher who trained at the Neighbourhood Playhouse in NY and teaches the authentic Meisner approach. Classes are a safe friendly environment where you’ll be held to account in every moment of your work, and never allowed to settle for the general or untruthful. If you’re in doubt, give it a try - if I had my way every drama school in the country would have Meisner as its foundation!”

They have great fun, learn important skills like discipline and make their granparents happy by practising their dance move in front of them. End of year shows are a great day out for the whole family. I love how their teacher Michelle can be very nice but firm when they misbehave. Highly recommended as an after school activity”

From devising a piece of Theatre in Education to performing in a theatre with a capacity of 400, I have done it all. All the teachers present are extremely helpful and make me feel at home in a safe environment in which I feel I can grow and develop in Performing Arts. Any student looking to go on to drama schools, there is no other place I would recommend as Bodens provides the top acting training for up and coming performers.”

“Fabulous theatre school with a fabulous team Lucy, Craig, Hannah, Sophie just to name a few really go above and beyond to ensure every child has fun and learns. Always opportunities to show of their skills and also to qualify in their chosen arts along the way. I wrote this review 4 years ago after my daughter having been at ATA for almost 4 years. She’s now been there almost 8 years and it is still the most amazing place. She gains so much confidence and skill from her classes and has thrived. She has gained LAMDA and IDTA qualifications in the plenty and is now a Grade 2. Sadly this is her final year due to us moving but she has loved every minute and we wouldn’t be without them. They not only are her teachers but they become an extension of the children’s families and help them not only with drama and musical arts but also support them when life is tough and they just need someone to listen. Thank you all for being the amazing team you are. We will truly miss you all. Xx”

“I have been attending bodens for about five years now and in those five years I have learnt so many new skills. I currently attend their Saturday morning combined musical theatre classes from 10am-1pm and their tap dance classes on Mondays from 5pm-5:45pm. I also take part in Trinity musical theatre exams which I am very lucky and grateful to do. Bodens has given me many opportunities and taught me many things that I will use in everyday life and in the future. Being a student at bodens has helped my confidence grow massively. They never fail to produce incredible shows where every student is involved and having fun. All members of staff are lovely and are always nice . They encourage us to take risks in theatre and help us understand what life is like in the theatre industry. Not only are the staff kind, but the students are too; they are all very welcoming to new people and are always open to making new friends. I have really enjoyed every moment during my time at bodens so far, and I think other young people should get to experience this too.”

“The Pattern Cutting & Professional Sewing Techniques course was great. Paul Simonson is so knowledgable and shared that knowledge in an uncomplicated, easy manner. I learnt a lot in 2 short weeks and Phew. The other staff are great. Nina Hunt in the Short Course unit was so helpful and nice. Maureen in the Sewing department was so helpful and went above and beyond. Great place to study. Will definitely look at doing another course there. Ikwo 2015”

“I really enjoyed attending Loughborough University for my Masters in Security Peace building and Diplomacy. The staff are fantastic and the facilities are modern. Having such a well placed campus in London is going to be a real benefit to Loughborough University. The Olympic Park is a great setting. The government is planning on some excellent new development, in particular the V&A museum thats being built near the swimming pool. Close to the University are a number of fantastic cafes, bars and restaurants. The canal is nice to sit by in the summer, as is the park (like the main campus in the Midlands, there is a lot of green space). Unlike other universities in London - where you have a choice either pay a huge rent and be close to lectures or live outside the city and endure a long commute - Loughborough is different. I found a room, thats 15 mins away by bike that cost me 560 a month (plus bills). Saved myself a fortune! In all an excellent year with some great personal successes. I would highly recommend it!”
