“Excellent local "greasy spoon" (in the best sense of the phrase. Friendly staff and good food at a reasonable price. Added to my places to have something to eat in Romford and much better than the Costa/McDonald's chains nearby.”

We have ordered a few times now and they have not disappointed. Great to be able to choose a delivery slot too. Lovely local small business which is well worth supporting.”

“We went to the switch on of the Christmas lights by Bradley Walsh and Santa !! The blue boar had a small Christmas market in the car pack - the pub was extremely busy but plenty of staff - we had a large round table of 13 and had 3 course roast and we were all veery happy with how lovely it was considering it was so busy but m there ! The service was good the staff were all helpful . We all had a fab day great atmosphere and food was top notch !! Well done blue boar and the staff who worked so hard under pressure x”
