Brook Green Pub
“Beautiful place to stay. Food and drinks outstanding! Let's don't forget about the Smith's Cocktail Bar!”
Victoria Pub SE8 Deptford
“Finally opened! We were waiting for such a long time! Really nice spacious place with huge potential. Friendly staff and a great selection of beers! highly recommended. There is outside space to sit with lamp heaters.”
La Rioja London
“Great food, cakes and coffee with a good understanding of the need for double shot coffee. We had a lovely time here. Be back soon.”
Park Tavern Pub
“One of the few remaining “proper pubs” in the area and it’s fantastic - warm welcome from the bar staff, fantastic ales, friendly locals - so glad to have found the Park Tavern!”
Gertie Brownes London
“a nice little gem in this world, an odd selection of beers on tap, lovely quiet but defined music, great enterior - can only recommend”
Imperial Arms Pub & Courtyard Bistro
“Update........ Tryed the fish Friday menu tonight and was delicious, plus you can still order from the bistro menu so plenty of choices including whole lobster and surf and turf. There's a pre book Christmas menu available for the 1st-23rd of December which looks excellent value for money, small deposit required. Great building with plenty of history. Booked bistro for a Sunday roast dinner. Foods good, does get very busy especially for Sunday lunches. Nice bistro and courtyard. Staff amazing! Professional, polite and attentive. Will definitely revisit and try the fish menu available on Friday's. Very limited parking.”
Hand in Hand
“This is definitely one of my favourite pubs in the Wimbledon area, it’s so nice in the summer months and nice and cozy inside in the winter. Being part of the Youngs pubs in the area I’m surprised they have so many, and they survive, but I’m glad to say they are surviving. They always have a nice selection of beers, today we had a proper local ale the “Wimbledon Brewery Pale Ale” which is such a great local brewery. They had a nice warm fire burning, but due to our timing we needed to sit out side and they have a great out door area. I can’t comment on what the food is like at present, but historically I have always felt satisfied, but like all the youngs pubs in the area, especially compared to my locals it is slightly punchy. For example 3 beers and a pint of Diet Coke came to £21 I’ve included a picture of the toilets as a lot can be said about a pubs toilets, and these were nice and clean and well maintained. Our only gripe is that the glasses were a little dirty, it looked like the dishwasher filter needed changing. Not enough to complain about and embarrass ourselves. It looked like lemon or lime fragments, which I’m not so precious I had to take my pint back and complain about.”
The Portland Arms Pub
“Really nice, less expensive than some with a mixed and diverse crowd and super-attentive bar/wait staff. Went for a couple, stayed for a few more, watched the footie and had a decent burger and chips. My friend said that while he was waiting on his own the checked if he needed anything and offered him water while he waited for me full marks, I'll be back.”
Star & Garter Pub
“This pub continues to be one of the very best in London. Always an exceptional range of keg beers available from the elite of craft beer. Their cask beer is always incredibly well kept, perfectly conditioned. The staff are also really sweet and helpful, and their hand soaps are always fun. Quite simply - the best pub in London.”
Coppermill Pub
“Such a cosy and welcoming pub, tucked away in a quiet spot in Walthamstow. The beer is great and the Guinness is very good. Always a warm and friendly atmosphere”
Bull's Head Pub
“Was a great place! Service was fantastic and the food was excellent. This is now our favourite place to eat locally.”
The Flintgate - Weybridge Pub
“Lovely pub this, food was excellent, the burger was one of best I have had in long time. Loads of space to sit outdoors, with pods and benches and canopy and parasol. Highly recommend this pub especially if you are a large group. Have a great selection of beers and drinks on offer.”
The Bear Pub, Esher
“Cute pub, with a nice ambiance. We went for lunch but it looks like the kind of place I’d like to go for dinner or Sunday roast, fire pits and a mix of informal and formal seating. Friendly staff as well. Youngs pub, so consistent. I’d recommend.”
The Albany Pub & Dining Room
“Another lovely evening at The Albany. Sitting outside to enjoy late summer al fresco dining while we still can as the evenings start to draw in. Fabulous and friendly service as always. Great cocktails and a Bang Bang Chicken burger, followed by a brownie and ice cream. Sheer bliss!”
Alexander Pope Pub
“Very spacious and friendly pub. It’s in a beautiful location by the river, and has plenty of outdoor seating as well as indoor. I haven’t eaten here (only had drinks) but the menu looks good. Staff were friendly and toilets were clean.”
Eel Pie Pub & Restaurant, Twickenham
“Went to this pub on a rugby day it was very busy, but it had great atmosphere. The bar staff were very quick and efficient and used to deal with all this well. We stayed in the little court yard garden at the back as we had someone who likes to vape. The garden can be accessed directly via a side alley very useful for disabled customers. A good pub, busy but lots of fun.”
Rose & Crown Pub
“Really tempting and varied menu and portion sizes were good. Fish cake starter was delicious, with the salted beetroot and dukkah wellington was an interesting and filling take on a Sunday roast”
The Woodman Pub
“We had a wonderful lunch at The Woodman - the food was amazing and the staff were so friendly (even the chef popped out with some extra chillis for one of us). The Sunday craft table for kids was a hit with our 4 year old. Perfect spot for a Sunday lunch!”
The Pilgrim Pub
“A fantastic pub run by a fantastic team of dedicated competent staff who not only go out of their way to ensure their customers are very well looked after, they also go out of their way to help other pubs out in the area when ever they can. I work in a pub in the area and know I can always call on Jason if I need anything. The food here is really good and well presented. Thank very much guys for not only running a cracking local SE London pub, but for also supporting other pub businesses in the area.”
All Inn One Pub
“We spent new year's eve here after a meal out and really enjoyed ourselves. The place has a nice and calm atmosphere but still had a buzz to it. There's also a separate space at the back - great for groups or birthdays. Music always good too. Overall, a great pub that deserves more custom. PS website says pub no longer serves food so suggest the landlord updates the google write up which mentions dining to avoid disappointment!”
The Beehive Pub | Tottenham
“A great pub in Tottenham. Bartenders are locals, and there’s a great function room that’s available for private events without any fees.”
The Beaufort Pub
“Very nice place to chill. The Sunday roasts were nice. Very nice and friendly staff.”
The Greyhound Pub
“Had a lovely Sunday lunch at the Greyhound Pub. The staff was super friendly, ordering via their app in January gives you a £10 off the bill, which is a bonus. Had the vegetarian burger and it was delicious, we cleaned the plate! Chips were cooked to perfection. I definitely recommend it and it’s dog friendly too, so if you have a furry friend, you can take him/her with you.”
Queens Arms London
“The food and beer were good. They had both British and Balkan food, very interesting menu. The workers were very friendly and the service was quick. My favourite pub in London.”
The Grosvenor pub
“Real pub! Would have stayed longer if I didn't have to get to the theatre. Non pretentious friendly place.”
The Alma Pub
“Fantastic service. Friendly and helpful staff who went the extra mile to make the stay pleasant. Great room with comfortable bed. Slight hiccup with getting the TV switched to Sky. But compensated by the great interaction with Eddie.”
The Sun Pub
“Friendly spot run by Herman and Neville. They run a good show, enjoyable.”
The Salisbury Pub
“Nestled on the corner of St Martin's Lane and St Martin's Court this famous Old pub is a well preserved relic of Victorian life, packed full of history. Call in for a beer! The mahogany bar and cut glass windows and panels are magnificent. What makes any venue is the people and the staff here are terrific; so kind, so helpful. We had a Festive buffet lunch for 7 in The Whisky Room. The food was good and there was a wonderful atmosphere in the whole place. Not so easy for wheelchairs everywhere in the pub but possible. The loos are in the basement via step narrow stairs. The whole place is fun and reasonably priced for theatreland. Thank you 'staff of The Salisbury' we had a great time.”
Villa Mamas London
“Delicious food, big portions and some unique kind of plates in here although it’s might sound like the typical Arabic kind of dishes but the flavors are well well executed in a unique way only Villa Mamas can provide you with. Loved the outdoor seating in here as inside it felt quite hot, staff were helpful yet can do slightly more smiling :) prices were above average but I found it reasonable for the above average portion size too”
