“We celebrated my very close friend's birthday here on Saturday and I can honestly say there was nothing negative to say about this place. It was my very first visit to the restaurant and I am happy to say that this place is now at the top of my favourites list. “This is our regular curry restaurant. We've been coming here for many years. It used to be called The Gurkha Kitchen but they changed the name, although the staff and menu remained the same. The food is well prepared, tasty and reasonably priced. I could just deduct one star as there are parts of the restaurant that could with a lick of paint, but as the food and friendly service are so good, I want to stick with a full star count. I can recommend it.”

“Another lovely evening at The Albany. Sitting outside to enjoy late summer al fresco dining while we still can as the evenings start to draw in. Fabulous and friendly service as always. Great cocktails and a Bang Bang Chicken burger, followed by a brownie and ice cream. Sheer bliss!”

“Super rugby pub, great place to meet before a Quins game - much more crowded for England. Then pop round the corner to Twickenham Ales brewery tap room for one for the walk to the stadium.”

“Vesuvio's did not disappoint us for our Valentines meal. Great portion sizes and excellent friendly service with a smile. I had the bruschetta to start which was so good, the balance of the garlic and dressing with the sharpness of the tomatoes was perfect. For mains I wanted the seafood risotto which wasn't on the special valentines menu but they were so accommodating and said they would give me it anyway and it was delicious. Perfectly cooked and perfectly emulsified making it decadent and creamy also very generous with the seafood. For dessert I had Tiramisu, again proper nice and creamy. Lovely soft biscuits soaked in coffee that tasted so clean, cold and fresh. We will be coming back 100% Keep it up Vesuvio's you're doing such a good job at creating an amazing, relaxing atmosphere.”

The DP Cafe - Whitton Sunday 11th September 2022 - 15:50 Opening Hours: Monday - Saturday- 07:00-17:00 Sunday - 08:00-16:00 There is some seating outside and plenty of seating inside. The refurbishment inside is really nice and is colourful, bright, fresh and it is very clean. I had a medium coffee with a slice of chocolate and caramel cake. A really nice smooth coffee and scrumptious cake, all for £6.30p which I think is reasonable. The couple running the place are friendly, polite and very welcoming. I’m not one for coffee shops but I will definitely become a regular visitor here.”

“This place is Magical! It is absolute perfection, the food, the amibiance, and Rubik's beautiful hospitality make you feel like you're coming home after years away. It's the kind of place where you think you'll just pop in for a quick drink or a bite, and the next thing you know you've made new friends, laughed with old ones and realized you never want to leave. And the food, "This is so good I could cry" was said many times! Cheers to Rubik, this might just be one of my favorite dining experiences of all times!”

“Went with a friend who came down for the weekend. Had a lovely experience - the place is beautifully decorated with a very chilled atmosphere. We chose our bits to paint and weren't rushed or given any timings so we could just paint and chat. Really nice little place, not overly expensive. We had a great time and will definitely be going again.”

We ordered risotto pollo e fungi (chicken and mushroom risotto) and tagliatelle gamberi e aspargi (fettucine with prawns and asparagus) and they were absolutely nothing like we tasted before. Both were scrumptious and cooked to the right texture. Comfort food at its best! I recommend adding the red-pepper-infused olive oil while savouring their cuisines. The server/host Luca was especially friendly. He helped us with sprinkling cheese powder and pepper, then upon settling our bill, offered us complimentary Limoncello which tasted really delicate. If you’re ever in Twickenham, this is the place to check out for a cosy and warm dining experience.”

“This is THE BEST Greek restaurant around hands down. The portions are HUGE and delicious. Being a fellow Greek I cannot rate it enough. The staff are all very friendly and warm. Nice Greek music played in the background. I go there at least once every two months. Highly recommend. 5 Stars :)”

“Squares of thin-base sourdough pizza with varying toppings - including a vegan option - for £4.50, served 'Folded' like a wrap. It's easy to confuse this with a Calzone (traditional folded pizza), but that's more like a pasty in appearance. Really tasty crust - thin, chewy and crispy at the same time. The salami was plentiful and great quality. For the price, it's a convenient way to get top quality pizza on the go. Cheap priced coffee drinks are available - the cappuccino (£2.80) was edible without being remarkable in any way. Well worth checking out this place - I think it'll be very successful. Edit - I'm very frustrated that this place offers no way to tip the staff; z even Starbucks has a tips jar, which offers them a way to supplement their low wages. The owner could do this with minimal effort, and it would make a big difference to them. I hope he reads this and takes appropriate action.”

“Astrid is very professional and has great knowledge about anything related to design and house works, without her knowledge I could not have done all these works myself. It was a collaborative process where we could both share our ideas and decide together what will look best. I loved the 3D render design that Astrid did, especially for my living room, as it helped to visualise the results. Astrid knows some great furniture companies and builders so you don't need to worry about anything. It was a pleasure to work with her, as she also has a great energy and personality. Recommended!”

“Malaysian cuisine! Friendly staff and makes you feel very welcomed and comfortable to dine in. Try Makan Makan Fried Rice and tea (hand mixed by Michelle) There's also a Fried Mars Bar!? Worth a try! Restaurant is a bit small with about 5 tables. Reasonably priced.”
